The turbo mode lasts for 1 second. Yes the light was not overheated and yes all eight 18650’s were fully charged. I waited for months to receive this and was very excited to see it is built like a tank. I immediately knew this would be my all time favorite light until I hit the switch for the first time and turned on turbo and it stepped down in one second. I would buy 5 more of these if the turbo mode worked. Maybe I got a defective one? Hopefully when the seller reads this they will reach out to me. I own other mateminco lights and I believe they are the best. This light is big and beautiful but the turbo not working means this light is way overpriced. I wish it worked I would have given 5 stars.UPDATE, 5/21/21. after a lot of research I have discovered that the light requires unprotected high amp 18650’s. I ordered Samsung 30q batteries and now the turbo works. This may be the baddest flashlight ever made. I love it. I just wish it would have come with a manual and instructions on batteries. Update to 5 stars.
