Shoe Fly, Don't Bother Me Paperback – Illustrated, December 7, 2012

My kids loved this book. The author is actually my high school art teacher. I remember him drawing the illitrations for this during my junior year. He is such an awesome guy! Also has overcome so much in life!

What a beautiful story of love, perseverance, and acceptance Jared Paul Wilson has written in Shoe Fly, Don't Bother Me! As is common for this author, his illustrations are incredible, and his story is moving. Another wonderful book to enjoy and share. Just do not be surprised if you decide to throw away your flyswatter after this one!

This book is great for a few reasons. It is great at teaching kids homophones (shoo fly vs shoe fly), and the story is really cute! My kids love to read, and too often, I find myself reading books to them with non-existent story lines. That wasn't the case here. This book had a creative plot. The illustrations were impressive, and they were much better than most kids books in our collection. Overall: loved it and highly recommend!

My mom bought this book for my children, Mr. Wilson is the son of one of postal workers she works for. This book has such a beautiful story plot and illustrated very nice, what makes this book extra special to us, is that he autographed his name into it and wished love would fill my home. I'm going for an Elementary degree and I'm proud to say this will be the first book included in my classroom library.

I bought this book for my 3 year old daughter Emma, thinking she would grow into it over the next few years. When I read it to her, she was so riveted to the story and images that we read it several times in a row. Can't wait to start reading it to my younger son as well. I'm sure this is one of those books they will remember as adults.

This is a wonderful story for children! Also, the illustrations are so compelling, each page could be framed and hung on your wall. Can't wait to see more from this author.
