One of the best book on identity crisis of women.
The packaging and the item is too good. For those who love English classical dramas and novels just ho for it.

Idk how should I express my words about this short play, for starters I would just say BRILLIANT!
What a Play Henrik Ibsen, you literally killed it with this play.As a reader I often face one challenge that writers aren't able to build complex characters because of the lack of space provided in a short novel or play, and I guess only William Shakespeare is one of those playwrights who was able to achieve this at least till now!Henrik Ibsen not only succeeded at building complex characters but also did a successful construction of a mind blowing storyline. All the characters had their valuable contribution to the story throughout this play, I never felt that any character was just placed without any literal significance. Few decisions made by characters completely blew my mind, the ending is just something which will keep the readers on their toes, it's insane! The way Helmer's last dialogue about doctor Rank turned out to be is still flabbergasting me!I would just say don't think just get it!P. S. I love the cover of this book!

A must read important play for everyone to know gender equality
We are Virginia Woolf. We are Jane Austen. We are our voice here. The play is so relevant even today! Can I just annoy the whole world by playing out loud the dialogues in the last ten pages or so repeatedly over and over again?!Wow. I didn't expect to love this play this much! Can we all us girls, women, boyfriends and husbands stop whatever we were doing and just read this play once?!If not (of course, other things are more important), can you just read the last ten pages?!First published in 1879 yet still relevant ✨Genre: Classic fiction/playFirst, I got this book for the cover. Yes, I do that a lot and it’s okay.Second, the book is really short and most of my reads are short.Third, it surprised me to the core! How? Why?It’s translated which I didn’t know. It’s a play which I didn’t know.I thought it’s a book for young readers and I was wrong! It’s a story about a married couple who had gone through the toughest times together and everyone thought the good times they were spending together was all because of the woman’s well off father and because of the hardworking husband. But what turned out in the second half revealed things about the character we thought was so superficial and childlike to be someone we would all look up to.I got blown away by the last few pages of the book and I do feel the last scene is a very important one even for the present world to know about gender discrimination and gender role stereotypes; also for discovering the toxic people we are with everyday. The dialogues are so damn liberating! I am talking about the last scene dialogues. Too good I say! Lots of life lessons to learn from there.I would recommend this book to everyone. Let’s empower ourselves by reading such amazing books.

A good read
The play is quite intriguing and talks about the oppression women face in this patriarchal society. It's really short so you can probably finish it in one sitting. If you are easily offended by women taking her own stand you might get offended. You have been warned lol

Dreadful
This version is appalling. It may be a good literal translation but the English makes no sense. Ibsen's Doll's House is a play that I know well and I barely recognise it here. I'm trying to get a refund for the Kindle version after reading the first two lines but I'm struggling. Dont be tempted to even look at it.
