I bought 2 pair to hold 2 kayaks on my 2019 Subaru Outback roof rails. Arrived quickly and all parts included. Some of the holes in the rack are very difficult to align to adjoining pieces to fit machine screws in - requires some time and patience. Securing the racks to rails can be challenging without a socket wrench or second set of hands to tighten. Consider the fold down racks for more clearance if parking indoors, as it is a process to take on and off. Overall, good value for price.

Bought this rack as an extra to be able to be able to haul a friends kayak when we fish. I for one did not like this rack. I liked the price-point, but that is all. The rack itself is much more narrow than pictured. The picture shows a widened setting with a healthy curve to the J-rack, but in reality it is a tight narrow space, not optimal for my kayak. Also, this is not sturdy at all on my round bars. Sure it fits them as it states, but it is constantly sliding and rotating on the bars no matter how tight you tighten the bolts. This would work perfectly on square bars, but not my round bars. I've got a Yakima J-Low on the the other side as my original rack and now I see that it is worth the extra cost. Never had a problem with it. If looking for a cheap way to carry a narrow kayak, and you have square or flat factory bars, this may work. Otherwise, I'd pass and look at the Yakima or Thule products.

Do not waste your money. Delivered missing half of the bolts. None of the pieces line up correctly. I found myself having to nearly hammer bolts through. Even after put together, the rack was not sturdy and moved. I was too nervous to even try putting a kayak on it. Also, some of the pieces of metal were jagged and sratched the painted finish on my roof rack on my car (that I purchased new 3 days prior). Lastly, NO INSTRUCTIONS. What kind of cheap company doesn't send instructions? Terrible quality equipment.

What I liked about the product is I have a set exactly like it. My dislike is the way it’s shipped unassembled. Instructions were horrible I had to you tube it. Parts were very tough to put together. I do not recommend this item unless it’s fully assembled. Save yourself the time time and aggravation.

Took over two hours just to get all the screws in and tightened. Instructions weren’t clear. They loosened while I had my kayak strapped to them. Not sturdy.

It will shift when you have it completely on the cross bars, It also cause me an accident. I would give it 0 stars but it’s not a option.

As you see I placed the kayak on the roof. I almost has an accident . The kayak goes sideways. Even when was super tied.

Product doesn't line of up with images. Bolts don't allow you to tighten all the way. Rack remains loose and is a hazard.
