Decent quality
Feels really good turning the key and watching it pop open, very fun to use lock in my opinion, seems pretty well built for an average lock

Superb lock
This is a great lock and serves its purpose very well. Locking mechanism is smooth (you can use triflow to lube it too). Pay attention to the model. The shackle thickness differs and you’ll want to confirm it fits your use case. The Abus site will have that.

great lock
I bought this for lock sport. (Lock picking) I consider myself to be fairly good at lock picking, I can open a master lock in about 10 seconds, dead bolt locks in 30 seconds, but this Abus lock kicked my butt for quite a while. I worked on it for about a week on and off, and finally got it to open. If you're looking for a tough lock that offers real security, you can't go wrong with an Abus. Don't waste your money on a master lock. You could watch a couple YouTube videos and open one yourself in no time

I said I like it because it seems and feels like well made
I said I like it because it seems and feels like well made. But be careful the size of the bolt. It is thick so the lock assembly I bought would not fit this lock. But I can use this for something else so I will keep it.

Solid
Bought with a chain, had to return as it didn’t line up properly with the chain I purchased. This lock is solid though, I would’ve happily kept it had it worked out the way I needed it to.

Did not fit my application
Seemed sturdy but would not fit on the doors of my shipping containers. They said it would. Oh well.

Fits 3/8 Chain Perfectly
Can't really comment on how secure it is, or isn't, nor the long-term wear and tear since I just received the lock. But what I can tell you is that it feels great, and fits 3/8 grade 70 towing chain perfectly - which I picked up to make some DIY bicycle locks. By perfectly I mean that there is space for the chain, but not enough extra space to fit a pair of bolt cutters or other tool.I suspect that any tool that can cut through the chain I bought could also cut through the higher-end models of this lock as well, so this seems like a well-matched option. No sense in having an $80 lock when they can just cut the chain instead, so this seems perfect.
