Medicom The Dark Knight: The Joker Maf Ex Action Figure (Bank Robber Version)

Absolutely love the detail on the figurine. Very easy to add on and add off parts to have him do whatever. I love taking photos of him and make it super creative! Little pricey but I managed to get a good deal on it. Can't wait to do more and I hope for those who do buy it has good reviews!

I am really impressed and kinda surprised how cool this figure is. Maybe not as cool as the other mafex joker with ten thousand accessories, but this one is super cool and very detailed. The pics don’t do it justice.

It's a great figure overall. It has fantastic articulation and the joints moved easily. There's lots of detail in the figure ranging from the wrinkles in the pants to the carefully sculpted clown mask. However, too much texture was added to the face sculpt lessening the likeness of Ledger in the film. The clown mask head, though, was beautifully made, capturing the eeriness of the robbery scene. For anyone who loves the Dark Knight or the joker, it's a great edition.

I typically only collect from the horror side of the collectible figure spectrum. As a kid I was always obsessed with McFarlane Toys' Movie Maniacs, Spawn, and Clive Barker lines. Returning to collecting as an adult I've gravitated towards the NECA Ultimate line. So take my review with a grain of salt considering that background in terms of what I look for in a figure.The Joker figure itself is pretty awesome looking with the Bank Robber head. The Ledger head I got doesn't really look like it did on the product page. He didn't have that worn and sweated out face paint like I was expecting but that's splitting hairs.My real issue was that when attempting to swap out heads and hands the joints, neck and wrist, would also come off. The neck wasn't a big deal but the wrist was extremely annoying to reattach. Then when you finally get it on you have to struggle to attach the new hand to it because the wrist joint is just swiveling every way imaginable. So it's hard to get the right leverage to attach the hand. There is just SO much articulation that it feels like the figure is going to just fall apart and at one point the chest did detach from the waist. No clue how that happened but it did.Conclusion: If you are like me and prefer your "action" figures to be more like mini statues with limited articulation, that look good and are meant more for displaying rather than playing, then this figure is going to stress you out. Even to those adults who consider picking this up for the young Batman fan in their lives I would be careful. I highly doubt this figure would last a full day of mock battles with the Bat in the hands of a child.

Felt disappointed with the non sturdiness of this figurine. Likeness to Joker face is decent and probably the only positive. Every other aspect of it can be summed up in one word; Fragile.

The joints are very smooth where it can stand on it's own without falling over. Hand pegs are sturdy and are easy to change hands. Possible advice, place the item in his hand first then peg it in, for safety precautions; I do this myself to be safe. It feels like he is straight out the opening scene. I also bought this on sale, so it was well worth it. Even though he has limited accessories (ie. his glock, mask, alt head and hands and a money bag) he is still a great figure and can re-create the opening scenes of The Dark Knight. I found that it is a solid depiction from movie to in your hand experience.

Quality is good. The figure's jacket is made of soft rubber and there are weapons and a mask for you to put on to the figure.

great price. great condition. brandd new with seal wrap. as advertised. slow shipping but totally ok. worth the wait!
