Witchling Academy: Semester One (Spell Traveler Chronicles Book 1)

What a breath of fresh air, thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writing brought the characters to life and yet it still feels like we are still getting to know them but it's not tedious. What I enjoyed the most is not being boggled down by "learning" in the classes with the characters. It's a pet peeve of mine as it just tends to be info dumping.Looking forward to book 2My review changes at book 4 to a 2 starI wish I'd read the comments before I downloaded book 4. A lot of very heavy subjects are tackled here; death, mental health, bullies, suicide. I'm not even sure if this one comes with a trigger warning. The plot is at a complete standstill whist we read the essays on the psychological issues people deal with. Considering this is not the kind of read I was expecting I did not enjoy it at all.A sad farewell to the series, being preached at about someone's views on the world is not my idea of trying to read a book to escape it for a few hours.

I enjoyed this book. It's world build was slightly diff from many others, so that interested me from the start.👍I like Brianne & her personality, she's very clever & magically forward but her ability to read boys & 'signals' is non existent, bless her!🙈 She wants to fit in, finally, but her new dormmates make her stand out which brings jealousy & nastiness from most!!😔😢 Her childhood bestfriend & crush, Elijah, should have her back, but it seems his own insecurities, jealousy & bitterness has banjaxed that!!😳Her dormmates are known as the Notorious Four - Jax, Connor, Fennick & Kaito. They're the Junior Year Council and kinda famous. Girls swoon over them & guys want to be them but no one seems to really get within their inner circle. Even Jax's ex girlfriend wasn't 'one of them'!!😳 There are many rumours about them, they're players, spolied, bullies etc but that's not who they are around Brianna. She gets to know the real people not the legends and they adore her for it.😎😍This is an interesting, fun read. I look forward to book #2 🐈Debbie, 1970, UK

Loved this book from start to finish, I could not put it down. Loved how the notorious four looked out for her and how she's helps them in return. The guys are all sweet and hot, what more can a girl ask for.

Thoroughly recommend this author. All her series have strong characters & detailed plots. Genuinely cant put them down until I finish all the available books

Absolutely amazing. Brianne is so sweet and loveable and powerful. The guys are hot but nice and protective. The story writing is excellent, pulled in right from the start and couldn't put down.

Well I bought this book series back in August and now finally getting around to reading the series and omg the first book was amazing was not able to put it down. Brianne is such a great character. Really can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series

I love reading academy books and this one was a awesome read, I love Brianne and the 4 guys she ends up sharing a dorm with. If you like hot guys, a sassy MC and magic then this is the one for you!
