Oscar Wilde, Complete Collection

This book is a present for a granddaughter who turned 18 and had tried to steal MY own volume of Wilde’s complete works. Mine is a fat and tired paperback. This is a gorgeous hardcover with illustrations… it’s going to be hard not to keep it for myself. Great buy.

Dorian Gray oh my goodness can this guy write I could not put it down! The book itself is big 11"x8 1/4"x1" so it's not a book you can throw in your purse to take to a doctor appointment and read while you wait so you don't have to touch the germ ridden magazines.

Most of the book is fine, but some of the places repeat(The Canterville Ghost repeat twice). And I don't find A House of Pomegranates in this book.

I am a huge fan of Oscar Wilde, & when my old copy went missing I was very upset. But I bought this copy to replace it & I'm more than happy with it. And after viewing several different copies before I bought this one, I have tot admit it was the beautiful cover that attracted me. I highly recommend it.

This is my FAVORITE book of all times to add to my library. It's definitely lengthy and rarely are books a full 8.5x11 page size but it's great to have all of Wilde's collections in one book. Binding is excellent. I love the bright, artsy cover compared to many that are plain.

This is a lovely edition, with an excellent binding, sewn in ribbon, faux marbled endpapers and a generous number of period illustrations added to much of the text. If you've any interest in Wilde's work, this is undoubtedly the best single volume for your shelves.

On my bucket list, a wonderful read.

Love Oscar Wilde and having all his works. I just wish the book was smaller so I could easily carry it around while I commute on the train. It's the size and weight of a college textbooks.

The book is just a compilation. you're better of downloading a pdf. In this book, I felt they just printed it and slapped it together. There are better complete works out there. However I feel as if I'm being overly critical, it does what it says on the tin, that's why it gets five stars.

I don't remember much about it.I have it away so others can share.
