I've been doing CrossFit for quite a while now and I wanted to add something new to my routine. This jumping rope was recommended to me by my coach as it is one of the essentials for a cardio workout. I liked how comfortable it is, it has perfect length and has a good grip. Also the connection between the handle and the rope is super important as per my coach: it is best when it has a swivel mechanism like this one. It fits all fitness levels which is great considering I am not a beginner but not a pro yet.

Great for those double-unders in your work out of the day. This is a high quality jump rope that is great for CrossFit, circuit training or just a great warm up. The rope is adjustable and replaceable so if you wear it out you can always replace it. The quality is really evident in the handles. They use nice bearings and I really like the way you fasten the rope to the handles. On other jump ropes that I have owned you slide the rope through a holder and the excess sticks out on the other side. This one you cut to size and tighten it in the holder with nothing sticking out the other side. All in all it is a great jump rope. I am not sure what brand of jump ropes they use at my CrossFit gym but they feel just like this rope.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

This is my new favorite piece of exercise equipment! This is an awesome jump rope, not only in construction and design, but the appearance is even appealing. This does strike me as an adult jump rope, however the length can be adjusted to fit a smaller adult or child if need be. I am 5 foot 2 inches, and I cut off about 3 1/2 inches. Changing the length was took me about 5 minutes, only because I didn't have a wire cutter. The rope itself, coated with black plastic (vinyl?), has many wires inside the black, making it both very sturdy and strong. See photo of the cut piece to see the wires. There are screws which allow you to remove the rope from the handle/s to accomplish this. This has fantastic handles, they are ergonomic and allow the thumbs and hands for a comfortable grip. I also love the bearings inside the handles that attach to the rope itself, they provide for smooth clean turning without getting twisted and binded up. The bearings are greased a bit, to assist with turning. It came in a neat little pouch for storage and/ or transportation.This is a great piece of equipment for the beginner all the way to the highly advanced exerciser. I feel it will greatly increase my endurance, as I was only able to jump for short amounts of time and in those time worked up quite a sweat. It also helps since now that my daughter is out of school for the summer, and I cannot make it to the gym daily as I had while she was in school, I will be able to keep up my exercise routine. Interestingly, my daughter being 7 going on 17, she didn't try to steal this as she does with so many of the neat things (or not so neat for that matter) I purchase for myself. As I said in the beginning of this review, this seems to me to be a jump rope geared toward adults, as the design and the look of it are almost bondage looking. It is definitely one that both sexes could use, as it is not hot pink and girly. (But men can use/ wear/ like pink, no judgement!) I would consider this the sexiest jump rope I have ever come across let alone owned.....am I allow to say that? LOL.I would definitely recommend this jump rope to anyone interested in a high quality, long lasting durable jump rope to supplement their workout routine. This is an awesome jump rope! You can tell it is high quality as soon as you open the box. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering buying!I use a jump rope about 3-4 times a week in my workouts and this one is perfect. My favorite part about this jump rope are the handles. A lot of the jump ropes I have used in the past have that cheap plastic handle that either breaks, or starts to slide out of your hands in the middle of a set. These are extremely sturdy and have a great grip around them, almost like a tennis racket. Even when I start to sweat these don't slide at all. It's also very fast and smooth, perfect for anyone speed jumping or doing double unders.Also, being a tall guy (6'2") a lot of the jump ropes are just too small for me. This one is plenty long, and even has a bolt on the side for you to adjust the length if needed.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.
