Maybe there are different brands being sold, because my tape worked just fine and stuck the first time I applied it. I did spend some time to carefully clean the screen with a wet rag and then dried it before applying the tape just to make sure there was no dust to keep the adhesive from sticking. I knocked off one star because the mesh holes are much bigger than standard window screens.

I know it’s onky a couple bucks, but it was awful. The mesh was so much larger than my screen. Each hole is about 4x the size of a normal screen hole. It’s not super sticky- but it really didn’t matter. I got the black bc my screens look black, but this is so black it stuck out like a sore thumb. I didn’t even bother to complete the application. You’d be better off sewing a tear than using this.

Worked great so far! I put tape on inside of patio screen to cover small holes that were there it covered perfect is noticeable but is better iPut on outside of screen also these were coming off probably due to dust etc so I removed and it looked better and stayed perfect ! I’m happy with purchase and price! :)

Helped to solidify my status as the handywoman of the house. My dog broke our screen door. I had been not using it for fear of bugs getting in the house until I saw this online. Now I can use the screen door again until we can afford to replace it. Works on window screens too.

Works great.Used it on a window ac to prevent bugs/leaves etc to get into vents.Repaired a whole on a window screen as well,so far it still sticks after a month.Did clean areas with some rubbing alcohol first.

Perfect. I rent and I have a screen that looks like someone took a pencil and jammed holes all along the bottom. I put a strip of this over it and now I can open my window to let in that wonderful breeze I get from living on the third floor and enjoy without worrying what else might be coming in with the breeze.

Used it to patch over two small slit tears in my screen made sure the screen was clean and dry before applying the patch strips.Went through multiple strips that kept peeling off because it would not hold.Had to use staples to keep the patches on because the adhesive wasn't working

Easy to cut - so far has stayed attached to the screen - could be a wee bit more sticky though - but good for the price and covered the holes in the screen to help keep the bugs out
