Quality face paint
I haven't worked with face paint for a long time but have jumped back in with both feet. This stuff is great. I don't know if it matters or not for anyone else but in colder temp's I got great results for fine line work with warm water. I'd dip the brush, shake the excess off once, blot the handle if any water was noticeable above the bristles there and had great results. In a different setting where there was an artificial heat source and the area was quite warm, it took a lot more water than before. I let the pots dry completely before re-securing the lids. It was easy to clean off the tools with plain soap and water but the face took a bit more work. They note that it can stain the skin for awhile afterwards. It's true. If you have sensitive or dry skin it might be a bit of an issue getting it off with just soap and water simply because of how drying and agitated it might leave the skin. I had the best luck using a micellar water from Sephora for sensitive skin and a witch hazel toner follow up. A good lotion left the skin feeling only mildly irritated instead of the angry burning of a soap festival on my face.

As a professional face painter for over 5 years I can tell you that no face paint is perfect. The draw back with me for Wolfe is that you have to figure out what the perfect amount of water, sometimes I'm swooshing my brush around in the pallet for a while just to spread out the excess water I used. Other times I feel like I'm constantly dipping my brush in the water. This may be because I'm painting outside as well. The huge plus is that it goes on very smoothly, i wouldn't trust any other brand for fine outlines and white highlights. It is more vibrant on darker skin than kryolan or paradise. The painters I work with have always used stacking containers for their paints, so it is very smart that the Wolfe paint cakes come in containers that already stack together, eliminating the need to ever put paints in a different container.

Wolfe is great!
Wolfe has an amazing formula that keeps lines sharp and layers well over other colors. I swear by it! It is hard to find but worth it. You can mixed it and blend it but it's waxy formula is something I really prefer to utilize for details.

Best paint
Definitely one of the most use of products in my kit. I totally recommend you buying the 90 g just because it is so often use in outlining and different common face painting faces. If you're kind of hesitated regards to Buying the tag or Wolfe black paint I recommend buying the wolfe. This is because I think the texture and the boldness of a color is way better .

Wolfe brothers face paint is the best for linework! best price $17.41
Wolfe black face paint is the best for linework, it is a wax based face paint so once it is dry it doesn't smudge. Just make sure to mix the water and paint to the right consistency, you don't want it too watery or it will drip and ruin your design but you don't want it too dry or it will drag on the skin and your lines won't look good.

Great product
This paint was awesome, had to wet it for it to spread out but it didn’t thin out the paint.
