Good quality extensions.

OK I rarely write reviews but I'm going to give my opinion on this type of tool and how I use them.There are a couple of Task I do regularly in my shop where It is important to not loose my socket - The first being spark plugs. I hate pulling my ratchet with extension out from removing a spark plug and the socket getting stuck and not coming out with my extension. If you done this task, you know what i'm talking about. Frustrating! These locking extensions help prevent that from happening. You slide the collar on the locking extension back, install your socket with the hole lined up with the extension ball and release. This locks the socket on, Awesome! No more stuck socket. The other task is pulling a Dash out of a Ford truck where the dash bolts are right below the windshield. Believe me, this is not a place to have your socket come loose from your extension because it's difficult to retrieve the socket if it does. These locking extensions prevent that from happening. Awesome!Now, comparatively, In the past, I've used Gearwrench branded locking extensions until one day while changing plugs the locking Pin under the extension collar fell out and dropped down the spark plug hole, (not good). Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the broken pin with the help of a magnet avoiding potential damage to the engine. I don't use Gearwrench locking extension anymore. The Sunex locking extension are far superior because they don't use a floating pin in their design. I've never had the Sunex brand extensions loose any parts or break in anyway, Awesome. So there is my 2 cents worth of opinion.

This was hands down one of the best decision I have ever made when it comes to tools these locking extensions make sure you socket do not get stuck on the bolt as well as give you a secure hold and guidance. This was by far the best extension I have used. If I could have the majority of my extensions be locking and as robustly made as these I wouldn’t have any other brand.

Sunex impact extensions & sockets can definitely hold up a little better than Snap-on impact stuff in regards especially to the square drive end.You're not paying the $130+ for a 5 piece Snap-on extension set! FACTS!!!Strongly recommend to any hard working mechanics out there!
