Unique, detailed lines. Often overkill, just pricide best lines is enough, too many alternatives to examine. Author is an obvious expert and practitioner of the catalan. Recommended over more outdated books in this opening, which I have also compared it to.

Absolutely terrible. You will learn nothing from this book except that some grandmasters played some variations of the Catalan. This book is not for 99.99% of chess players. It will be a waste of your money. You've been warned.
