Datel Action Replay For Wii

This thing is a complete waste of money! It only has about 60 games for the US version of the Wii, and half of the codes in those games are either useless or don't work. It took me about 5 tries to actually getr it to turn on like it was supposed to. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this, is you want to cheat, find something else, cause you won't be able to cheat with this anyway, and you'll have wasted 30 bucks!

I read the manuel and learned to add new codes edit the .xml file. I then went to codejunkies and found that there was no new codes. Since then i have been checking codejunkies for codes... but guess what? NO NEW CODES! :-( But anyway... the best part about it must be the Mario kart Wii codes

the game did not contain a license key and could not get a hold of datel. Had to purchace a new one at Walmart.

When it has came down to Datel, they have made a promise to make the Action Replay for the Nintendo Wii. Yet, with Nintendo winding down its focus on the Wii, and placing bets on the upcoming Wii U, many gamers are anxious to see what will come up with the Nintendo Wii U. For Datel, they have finally developed the Action Replay made for the Nintendo Wii. The difference with this one though is that you would have to install the software into the computer, to download the codes for the Action Replay, not manually install codes alone. It works alright, yet there are a few flaws with it. The first one is that the memory card cover can easily break, and not be recognized with the computer, and with the computer as well. The second one is that because Datel took too long to have released, many gamers have anxiously moved on and put the focus on the Wii U. Is it worth the money, well yes and no. I think it is a good buy, but overall there was much more Datel could've made into it for it to deliver better, and that with the long wait (6 years since the Wii came out,) it might not be worth the effort.Price: B-Installation & Setup: COverall: C+

I did not realize when I bought this that it would not work on the wii u. The sole reason why is nintendo removed the settings menu from the wii emualtor in the wii u so the "letter bomb" exploit that action replay is attempting to use will not work on the wii U. skip if you are past firmware 4.3
