Poor User Instructions But Great Product
As a previous reviewer posted, I thought mine was dead at first. The user instructions have literally two steps and don't have anything included about connecting the battery to the camera. I thought the battery door needed to be off to use the product, but came to realize the camera won't turn on unless the battery door is closed. There is a small slot available for the wire to route thru that I didn't see at first. Now that I figured it out, it works great! So much better than any webcam on the market! I use it with the rf 35mm f/1.8 and settings to eye auto-focus.

It's an adapter for your camera with a very short pointless USB cable. If you have anything but a laptop, Good luck? Because obviously the cable probably won't be long enough to reach your PC.Oh and also they make you pay for a subscription to use 1080p. So you're locked in at 720p unless you pay a subscription to Canon. That's absolutely ridiculous.

I purchased what I thought was a “new” product, but I received one that was very clearly “used”. All the internal bags / seals where either ripped open already or missing.The power connections didn’t work either; so clearly, someone bought a “new” one and returned the broken one I received…

Purchase this product back in September 2021. I haven't had time to set up my EOS R. As you see in the photo battery doesn't fit. The advertisement points out that it provides an EOS R and it does not.
