Very disappointed. This looks like an excellent product, but they need to emphasize that it is Not for use inside of a shower! I had no idea until I read the insert in the packaging. So I have to return it and continue looking for what I need.

So I bought a bath mat in order to be safe in my shower (i.e. not slipping all over). This mat is definitely not safe. It slips and slides in and out of the shower and actually floats in water if you aren't standing on it. AND it really really stinks. It may look nice, but so what if it isn't useful?Update: I don't like the product any more than I originally did, but I am very very impressed with the company, Hankey, that sells it. They were very quick to offer a refund based on my dissatisfaction and say they will make their information clearer on the website. I think it is great that a business steps up to resolve their customers' dissatisfaction. Kudos to them.

The bottom of the mat has black mold/mildew on it. I have sprayed it with bleach cleaner and there is still some black stained on the mat. Just like all mats it needs to be air dried after use. It is comfortable to stand on but can slip in shower and I needed two mats to fill up the area of my shower.

The mat looks really nice and natural but it's not very durable. It's held together with fishing line and mine broke, so now it's coming apart. It is also a little slick right out of the shower.

I bought this mat to put inside our shower. We had tried a teak mat, but as it was rigid, it cracked within a few weeks, as our shower is not flat, but slopes downward towards the drain. This mat molds to the shape of the shower floor, it is very smooth and easy on my husband's ultra sensitive feet. The water puddles on top of the mat a little bit during the shower, but is not a concern. So I bought a second one to put along side the original. this covers the entire the entire shower floor. Very pleased. We roll it up loosely after the shower, and let it sit on our shower seat to drain and dry.

I have been using one of these every day in my shower since last November, and It is the best shower matt I have ever used. My shower is in the bath and this moulds to the curve with no problem. The rubber feet can slip slightly under sideways pressure, so some caution when stepping in is required, but once I'm standing on it, it doesn't move. My bath is cast iron and extremely cold in the winter and standing on this bamboo has made winter showers a pleasure again. It never feels cold.I always hang it over the bath to drain after every use and give the underneath a gentle scrub now and then to stop any mould from starting.An elderly relative recently got a walk in shower and he hates the slippery floor, and rubber shower matts just slide about on it, so I got him this one, and he loves it. He says he feels very secure standing on it and finds it warm on his feet.There is no smell, like I found with a more expensive one that was made of wood, and mine still looks like new after using it every day for over 9 months. I highly recommend this brand.

The media could not be loaded.  Nach dem Bad mit nassen Füßenist diese Matte zu Begrüßen.Mit Bambusholz ganz elegantfühlt besser es, als Fliesenwand.Wie man hoffentlich erkennt, bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Bambusmatte fürs Bad. Sie sieht sehr gut aus und fühlt sich auch angenehm an (auf jeden Fall viel besser, als mit nassen Füßen auf kalten Fliesen).Die Matte ist sehr beweglich (also man kann sie zusammenfalten oder rollen).Das einzige, dass jemanden vielleicht stören könnte, ist das leichte klappern, wenn man darauf herumläuft (ich denke, man kann es im Video hören). Mich stört es zumindest nicht.Ich hoffe diese Rezension ist für jemanden hilfreich.

I’m not sure if it’s whatever they used to stain the wood, but if you get the mat wet (which is clearly necessary - it’s a bath mat!!), then you get this brown stain on your floor and a strange smell. I have tried rinsing the mat several times in the hopes that the weird stains / smell would go away but it hasn’t improved and now I’m outside the return window. A lot of money to waste on something entirely unfit for purpose!

I loved the look of the bamboo, plus the fact that it will roll away when not in use - however cannot use it in the shower as the non slip feet did not really do the job, I will keep the mat as it looks good on top of a cloth bathmat but definately not in the shower

Thus is a really good quality mat and it looks absolutely stunning. It's also well varnished so won't be getting damp on it. Highly recommend 👌
