Amazon Brand - Solimo 2000-Watt Room Heater (ISI Certified, White Colour, Ideal for Small to Medium r & 1000-Watt Dry Iron (White and Turquoise) Combo

Bought this heater first time in 2022. Used this for 2 winters now and it's working perfectly. The area that it covers is not a lot but is good for a single room. There's option for low medium and high heating as well as fan speed. It's value for money. The energy consumption is also manageable in terms of the bill. Perfect to make this winter cozy. Very easy to use with the dials on it. And the air flow is also adjustable.

Heating capacity is good with a common design which is being used by orient warmex and Solimo etc. Here issue is -on vertical mode it starts moving with heavy vibrations. Couldn’t Amazon ask manufacturers to put some rubber tip etc to make this stable? Plastic quality is average and likely vulnerable to overheat. Airflow and speed is good while thermostat works well. It can be used for longer time provided you set the thermostat/ heat settings to 75% and never set to at highest otherwise plastic is likely to get overheated. Best mode is horizontal placement for effective and quicker heating. Vertical position seems to be a bit unsatisfactory to me. Overall it’s good for a medium size room like 12x14 etc.

Bought 🛒 it during Oct 2022 after my 10+ years old international brand plastic room fan heater's body/chassis broke due very small handle that kept slipping from hand over the years, and so, has a lot of cracks on the outer body. The previous room heater still functions properly, and the body has been taped heavily by me.Now coming on to this Solimo heater - it's been manufactured by Warmex - which is a reputed brand for room heaters. Some of my observations:📋 The outer length of the power cord of 1.3 meters is insufficient. My previous one had 2 meter cord - which is better. Adding a 16A extension cord doesn't justify the overall cost.📋 There is considerable heating efficiency difference when it is kept in vertical versus horizontal position. In vertical/standing position ↕️, the air through the fan is not constraint, so don't expect too much heating. In horizontal/laying position ↔️, it heats up relatively better. Of course, this applies to all room heaters with same/similar design, no matter what brand.📋 In horizontal/laying position, the grab handle goes on to the floor, so there's some hesitation to grab it as dust/dirt is expected on the floor.📋 In horizontal/laying position, make sure not to keep it upside down, as the airflow will be insufficient from bottom to top and it can have disastrous effect.📋 The fan motor, or the airflow sound, is a bit noisy compared to my 10+ years old room heater.📋 It's thermostat never shuts the fan, compared with my previous room heater which does shut itself off when the set temperature is reached. This concerns me about the life of fan motor.Now that I already own it, I better like it 🤣, hence the 5-star rating.

However, I've noticed that it doesn't heat up the room properly even after running it for a considerable amount of time.One suggestion to improve the product would be to include a remote control to make it more convenient to adjust the temperature from a distance.Additionally, it takes much longer than expected to heat up the room, and the noise level of the heater is quite high. It's not something that can be easily ignored and can be quite distracting if I'm trying to work or sleep.Furthermore, the build quality of the heater is not as sturdy as I had hoped. The plastic body feels a bit flimsy, and I worry that it might not hold up over time.Lastly, the cord length is a bit shorter than I would have liked, which limits where I can place the heater in my room and can be inconvenient.On the positive side, the adjustable thermostat is a nice feature that allows me to set the temperature according to my preferences.Overall, while the Amazon Brand - Solimo 2000/1000 Watts Room Heater with Adjustable Thermostat has some useful features, it doesn't heat up the room properly and takes too long to do so. The noise level and build quality issues are also a concern. With the addition of a remote control, it could be a more convenient option, but I would suggest looking for other options before making a purchase.

Disappointing -1. The plug was dirty, as if already used2. As soon as I plugged it in, the heater switched on at the highest setting. I had to turn the knob to switch it off3. We hike it is a bit noisy, it keep vibrSting and moves when kept on the floor.4. After 2 mins of it being switched on, sparks started coming as nd I could see a small fire near the circuitry. Switched it off immediately and packed it.Cheap quality, dangerous as it moves on it own and has sparks flying around. Absolutely disappointing.
