Strainer basket is NOT durable
I love this teapot as it is so elegant looking and easy to clean. I have bought three of them in the past few years. Unfortunately, the new design has a flaw: the spot welding that attaches the strainer basket to the ring is not sufficient and the ring is no longer attached to the strainer basket. So the basket falls into the teapot. What a disappointment. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this review and add better welding to future products. As designed now, I hesitate to recommend this teapot.

Beautiful table teapot
I love bamboo and this is a beautiful teapot to put on a spring/ summer table . I just put tea bags in the center - don’t even bother with lose tea. So pretty
