Aumbry Collections Foldable Jute Storage Basket

Perfect for what I needed it for.

This is a sturdy little basket that holds more than I imagined it would. We have it filled with magazines and books and can easily move it around. The handles are sturdy and the basket is cute. Love it!

Not what I was expecting. Does not hold its shape very well. I like the saying on the front.

I have all kinds of storage boxes and baskets around my house because I hate clutter, yet I like to have my “things” easily accessible. We live in the country and our home reflects that more rustic lifestyle, so when I saw this jute basket I knew that it would fit in nicely with our décor.This basket is pretty roomy, measuring about 14” x 11”x 9” – these dimensions are different from what’s in the description (12.6” x 9.8” x 9.4). I’m not sure if I just received the wrong basket, or if there’s an error in the description. No complaints here, though, because what I received is actually larger. The basket is lighter in color than what you usually see with jute, which I prefer. If you’re not familiar with jute, it’s basically burlap (perhaps the word “jute” just sounds more interesting?). There’s no lining on the inside, but the interior is treated with something that makes it smooth. There’s a metal support sewn in around the top edge which allows it to stand firmly upright. The handles on each side are attached with brads and seem sturdy.I’m using this basket by my front door to hold hats, gloves and umbrellas, and it looks sharp there. It could be used for a lot of things, from holding knitting supplies, rolled towels, loose snacks, small toys, or even magazines. I just wouldn’t try to haul around anything really heavy in it. The only thing that I’d add is a removable support for the bottom. All in all, a handy little basket that would look great with almost any décor style.This basket was provided to me at a promotional price for evaluation purposes, but I was under no obligation to leave a favorable review.

This cream colored jute basket looks great in our bathroom. I rolled up some towels and set it next to our old claw foot tub. When the basket is full, the sides hold up better than if the basket were empty. There's wire around the top of the basket that gives it its shape, but the sides and the bottom of the basket appear a bit saggy or wrinkled. If I could change anything, it would be to add some more support to the sides of the basket. That would give the basket a more crisp and sturdy feel to it. It works great for holding lightweight items. Another great use for this basket would be to hold my yarn balls in while I crochet. I can take them with me and have everything all in one place. There are so many uses for a basket like this, I'm sure I'll keep thinking of more. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd certainly recommend it to others who have lightweight items to carry or display.I received this basket at a slight discount (not free) and my review is my own ~ I have absolutely no reason to give it stars it doesn’t deserve. Cute basket, nice size. The fabric feels like laminated burlap. Seems durable and wipeable. Currently using mine to store diapers and errors for easy changes.
