my husband is a plumber & this helps prep copper in seconds compared to manually prepping, they dull after a few months of daily use but worth the time/hand strength saved!

Legit first use and it broke. It snapped right off. I broke out laughing because i thought it would at least last the day

I had no issues using this. I had to replace the toilet shut off valve and I use this to clean off the excess solder and to clean the pipe. It did a good job cleaning off almost all the solder, except for a couple stripes. You do want to make sure you spin it clockwise, not counterclockwise. And you also want to make sure you're not going full speed with the drill. It doesn't need 1,500 RPMs to clean, as a matter of fact that will most likely break it. If you're dealing with a clean pipe, four to five rotations of the tool is all you need. With the housing being made out of plastic, too much heat is going to cause it to fail. But I had no issues with it whatsoever, it did a good job.

Bought this to clean copper pipe prior to flux and solder. It broke on the first use. Put it on my impact and it broke the fir as t try. Complete junk, especially for the cost.

The product seems thin and easy to break, I went through and read the review and I didn't want to purchase it, but I figured it might be user error for the most part. Using the review I stopped myself from using it on an impact drill. I used mine on a regular drill and I don't have a problem with it. Works great, purchased another one and bought the three piece hand set. Been using them for over a month now and I still don't have a problem with them. Even though the product seems cheap, I dont think I can go back to sand cloth. Saves so much time and I will continue to purchase more when I need them.

Not so great unless you want to use it for one or two jobs.the plastic broke free from the mandril after about 10 uses.

Great tool for the price.

Broke on the first use. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on this product.

Used it 3x, cannot withstand the power of modern power tools. The plastic cracked around the metal bolt. I'm going to buy the all metal one and try that instead
