Here are a few tips when applying residential wall paint onto boards.Choose to apply paint on the flat side of the board.2. Select satin or semi-gloss sheen finish level of paint. The more shiner the sheen is, the more durable the board will be for future use.3. Use a roller with a low nap to apply paint to board.4. Paint with thin layers of paint, let it dry, and build up layers slowly until a consistent color level is reached.

Perfect for making my own stencils as well as using this board for pseudo mats because you can wipe wet paint off easily and use again and again to view artwork that you are evaluating. Thanks!

I've been using mighty boards for years now in my decorative painting business. I've had Venetian plaster samples that have held up great. Actually all of my samples are in good condition, not matter how thick or thin the texture is that I am using. They are light weight so they don't weigh down my portfolio. I don't have to prime them and that's a plus!
