Not sure about weather resistance.
So far I've been satisfied with the clock. But, it isn't weatherproof. The electronics for the clock seem to be sufficiently protected from water intrusion, but the clock overall is not sealed from the weather. The clock face is some type of paper that is affected by moisture, so it will flex, bulge, wrinkle or curl as winter dampness works its way in. Condensation will accumulate on the inside of the clear cover. I also suspect that the printed clock face will fade with sun exposure. I'll see how that goes by the end of summer. A big improvement would be for the paper clock face to have been laminated to protect if from moisture. If it does degrade too much, I'll try to remove and repair it. There are clips in back which hold the clock in the housing. It might be possible to remove those clips to gain access. So far the clock works for how I wanted to use it, I just don't have much confidence that this will last a full year.9-month update: It has now been through a summer and a rainy season. The clock weathered the time still working. As expected, the antiquing on the face faded over the summer and now it is just black and white but is still ok. No problems with leaking into the clock motor, though the clock face is not sealed from the weather so condensation will occur. The clock face is paper which is glued to the plastic backing. The glue failed in a number of spots fairly quickly which allowed the face paper to warp and bulge. It was still readable. Eventually I took it apart, flattened the paper, re-glued it to the backing and reassembled it. It was fairly straight forward. So it is still going. They need to either use better glue or laminate the face paper to keep it from warping, and perhaps provide a UV resistant dial cover to keep the antiquing from fading. No rust, yet. Overall it does what I want and I'm happy with it.
