I used this thread for book binding and it is a pleasure to use. I will be purchasing this thread again.

I am using this for book binding and it’s superb! I love that I can secure my pages without ripping through or causing giant holes using a thicker thread. It is easier to thread being waxed and doesn’t slip.

Bought this thread for bookbinding because it was prewaxed and cheaper than Lineco. Thread is very pleasing to the eye and hand, but it hasn’t been very easy to work with. First, it’s thicker than either thread I’d used before, which made it harder to thread my normal needle and harder to sew on holes punches with my light-duty awl—had to switch to a bigger needle and awl. Second, the wax and size seem to contribute to kinking, so the thread gets caught in the sewing holes more often than happened with thinner thread. Still very usable, and very nice spool.Edit: turns out the other reviews are right that it’s too little waxed. Kinks go away when you wax it.

This product works very well as we have used it to set up a weaving. It works very good.
