I've had my soft-sided RTIC cooler for 4 years and it finally gave out. We use it almost daily in the Florida Keys and I think the salt air just finally ate away some of the rubber by the zipper. In looking for a new cooler, I knew I wanted something with better features. I spent the whole 4 years grumbling about the RTIC. The differences is where the BougeRV cooler shines.First of all, the pockets. The pockets on the RTIC were so tight you couldn't fit your hand in and were basically useless. Over time the mesh one on the back loosened up, but the front is just a zipper. Very small and tight. The BougeRV pocket on the back is much looser, allowing you to put more in there. The front one actually is added to the cooler, making it big enough to put napkins, silverware, your phone... pretty much anything.The BougeRV cooler is a little taller too. Since the lid is thick, this allows a little more room. Once the lid comes down on the RTIC, it was smashing into sandwiches or anything I tried to place on top of ice.The handle on the RTIC was the cause of me cussing many times. I never had the shoulder strap attached. When reaching down to pick up the cooler, you need two hands. If you have one hand, you put half the handle up on top, go to grab the other handle, and the first one falls. I know it sounds stupid, but it is super frustrating. I like how the BougeRV one is a little longer and has the strap so you can kind of maneuver it one handed a little easier.The bungee top and the bottle opener on the side are pluses in my book. Overall, I'm very pleased with this cooler. I will be putting it to good use.

When I received the bag I was very impressed. Taller than my RTIC. Held ice for the amount of time we needed it. Easy to carry. The pockets are great. Took it to the beach and it poured down on us. Left the cooler outside on the beach during the storm. The front pocket filled with water and the top puckered like it has an air bubble. So know that the front pocket isn’t water tight. I am hoping that the bubble will go away. Other than those issues great cooler.

I was a little worried about ordering this cooler since it costs over $100 but I was pleasantly surprised. We used it at the beach for several days in a row. It kept things very cold and it did not leave condensation on the floor when we brought it in each day. Was easy to clean too! The only thing I didn't like about it was the zipper. It is extremely hard to open and close (even though we used the lubricant that came with it). Overall I'm very pleased with the cooler and think it will last for several years.

Omg it’s way bigger than what I expected but, worth it. First of all I absolutely love the color! So pretty, I don’t even want to get it dirty lol. Zipper was tough but, they add lubricant to make it easier. Made very well and so durable. I’m excited to take this on beach trips and road trips. Exactly what I needed.

Great product, extra side zipper area for like phone or keys. 2 mesh pockets and a cool bungee cord straps on top for a water bottle or hat. Exact what I was looking for. Would like to see a smaller version too. It’s 14 inches tall, would like to see a 10 or 11 inch tall for us paddleboarders. I posted a pic on board to show size

Amazing cooler. If you are looking for a cooler that will keep items in cooler cold (and i mean ICE cold) even when the ice may melt or freezer packs start to thaw, this is it!! Perfect size for going in the backseat, KAYAKS, boating or to the beach. Sand doesn't stand a chance wipes right off, along with anything else that may spill on the material. Would purchase again in a larger size if we needed it, and recommend to anyone liking a stylish cold cooler. So glad I found this while looking for a new cooler for our kayaks and beach.

The quality of this cooler compares to Yeti. Love it. It is beautiful also. Light weight. Zipper is easier than my Ozark cooler. The water proof front pocket is great for phone, chapstick, and sunscreen. Towel can be secured under top straps. Boat all day with only one bag to bring also.

We love this cooler! The extra pocket in front is very functional (compared to other brands where it is useless) Quality is Better than top brand coolers and it is half the price! We take this everywhere!
