This book is pretty good
So obviously this gentlemen is Canadian which is so cool?! I need to move there, they're like pretty badass, look at their winters?! I'm a winter person so that's another reason for me to move there. Plus I'm a studying citizen from Germany so I hope that makes Canada want me even more to contribute to their flourishing economy. And my book was signed by Mr. O'leary! Very blessed thanks!!!!

Blunt, Honest, Fair and a GREAT read
oh MAN this is what a Biography should be!Kevin lays out his life for you from start to end...but he's lived an interesting life and he has a fun (yet not silly) way of telling the story. He's been very successful, and he tell you how he did it.You might not like him...and you might not like his methodology. But everything he did was upfront and honest. And his determination made him very, very successful and wealthy.Sure, he doesn't sugarcoat it, but that's the O'Leary charm.Obviously his methods work, so he's ALLOWED to be blunt. If you want to read about a guy who started out at the bottom and clawed his way to the top....more than once!...this is a GREAT biography!

Distribution is key
Here is what surprised me: to find so much valuable information, as a young entrepreneur.I hadn't given much thought to distribution and my own business model until I read this book. What I took away from his story is that he managed to democratize software by undercutting (yes, you'll say he's brutal) everyone in the software industry, adopting a volume and licensing strategy.I'm 26, so I can definitely remember growing up and seeing all those 2-5$ games and software disks by the counter. I personally found most were total crap, yet I now realize it brought down a lot of giants who would otherwise charge software by the thousand. In my opinion, his personal brand was built on the same principal. His personal brand is only as strong as the TV rating can be... and the rating is pretty high (in major part due to his own "Mr Wonderful" nature).I took away something: when I have a kid of my own, I'm making him build a lemonade stand by the golf course, so he learns that Distribution Is Key.
