Go to the SUNIX site, download and install their drivers instead of Windows 10 Plug n Play (in case the USB ports are flaky)
Based on my experience, running Win10Pro x64 on a Dell XPS 8700 (which already has 6 USB3 ports built-in), I was unable to get all 4 ports running unless I went to the SUNIX site http://www.sunix.com.tw/product/usb4300ns.html and downloaded and installed their driver. In the Windows Device Manager, the default Plug n Play device that's installed is a Renasas ... 1.0 (Microsoft) device, but when I installed SUNIX's, it installed a Renasas USB Controller and USB Hub, and then I had to restart Windows to activate the USB Hub. Now all 4 WDC 4TB USB3's are running properly off this SUNIX card, as well as all the other built-in USB3 ports. Make sure you have a SATA extension power cord when you order this card, for example the StarTech.com 4x SATA Power Splitter Adapter Cable (PYO4SATA).

Was listed as new, but was a return (anti-static bag was ripped open).
I have bought this card before and have liked them. Since this was the last one, I decided to get it for future use before it was gone.I was disappointed that the card was not new. Instead of stockpiling it for later, I was forced to install it in a system now to ensure it wasn't DOA. Windows 10 Pro, so drivers were automatically installed, didn't need the DVD. Copied gigabytes to/from four USB 3.0 pen drives plugged into the four ports. Fortunately no problems. But I dinged 2 stars because it wasn't new.

Had lightening issues, close strike, with several motherboard usb ports. Using two of these cards, yes two will work, powered from my PSU and a Y adapter have added eight extra ports doing their job without complaint. Exactly what was needed.
