Great value, but one issue
This adhesive is really good for arts and crafts, but be warned, it destroys your brushes! Does a great job as an adhesive, for any type of leaf (I used imitation gold leaf), but don't apply it to any nice brushes. it turns them sticky, and is a huge pain to clean off. Overall, great product and I would recommend, just don't use on nice brushes!

Small but does work well
Wayyyyy too small. Very expensive in my opinion. Read size before purchasing

Dependable...
Have been using this line of products since the early 70s. It is the same quality, dependable product it has always been.

You need a coat so thin, it's hard to apply
This stuff never really dries-dries. If you have more than the thinnest layer it remains tacky soft, so if you touch your gold leafing it'll smear, displacing it. This is true whether I wait 20 mins, 30 mins, or 12 hours or a full day. Same issue at all time points on an identical test surface.Getting a thin enough coat is possible, but physically difficult. I managed it on a couple spots with a 1mm brush, but haven't figured out a way to do it reliably over a large area.

My preferred variety!
I have found this variety of gilding adhesive to be not only:1. more convenient and easier to work with,—but also—2. more effective & adherent, improving the end-results of a project. This provides you with more for your money: a little goes a long way & this variety is easily spread out on a larger area than most "regular" varieties tend to be.
