Jacobson HatMen's Adult Police Cap

Advertised as adult, although I bought it for my 10 year old son. I assume sizing is correct though because it was SLIGHTLY large on him, but not enough for it to fall in his eyes. Fits on me too when I feel like being a cop. So all in all, no complaints.

The hat is fine. Maybe a bit overpriced but it's about the best available on a budget. It was used for a high school play and will probably be used in the future so the adjustable band is a nice feature.

As a buyer of the product I don't feel the description or picture matches the actual product well enough to be an accurate depiction. My item arrived later than the predicted delivery window and it was shipped in a box that required the shipper to cram the item into the box and destroy any previously established shape it had. The hat is not wrapped or packaged in any sort of plastic to protect it in the box, and so when it arrived it was covered in dust, random smudges and lint.The fabric used on the hat looks closer to a sort of corduroy than anything you would want to use for an officer's costume (which also doesn't help with lint gathering on it), and the image provided on the item's page is so low quality that you can't see that before purchasing. The picture is deceiving also in terms of the color the badge on the hat is. Seeing it such a pale shade in the picture, I was surprised to find the badge was a much stronger gold finish than originally anticipated.The hat's biggest weakness is the fact that the shape is nothing like the picture displayed. When folded out and worn, the hat carries little to no indication of the points displayed in the picture or on anything close to an officer's hat. Instead, it resembles something closer to a conductor's cap with a badge on it.Careless handling, late arrival, and overall inaccuracy with the product I recieved makes this a definite regret at the price I bought it for. Would NOT recommend unless you want to be waiting on a crumpled up, dusty hat crammed in a box to be delivered to your doorstep.

the hat is ok, it will work fine for the play we are doing, however the gold plastic badge was hot glued on off center tilted. I also didn't notice I was paying for shipping, so I don't think it's worth close to $10

I always have to buy hats that have the snap or Velcro extender/closure in the back because I am a wig wearer. Between pinning my real hair down and my super high volume wigs any other type of hat doesn't work for me. I bought this for a Halloween costume and it worked well. Decent quality for the price and my bf and I will get more uses out of this in the bedroom ;)
