Some Answered Questions: Collected and Translated From the Persian of 'Abdu'l-Baha (Classic Reprint) Paperback – August 24, 2018

This is an amazing book, written by Abdu'l-Baha, exemplar and teacher of the Baha'i Faith in the early 1900's. He is explaining spiritual ideas and principles through an interpreter to Ms. Barney, who recorded his answers, which were later published as this book. The level of understanding and knowledge Abdu'l Baha demonstrates is astonishing, he speaks clearly about complex spiritual ideas, including Christian topics. Some of the subjects are proofs of the existence of God, Man's knowledge of God, evil, Justice, mercy, the growth and development of man, the existence of the Prophets, and other topics. The insights given are profound but the book is clear and easy to read, each explanation is accessible to the reader regardless of his level of understanding. It can be read by sections or chapters rather than straight through. You will find yourself referring to the subjects in this book over and over, with new insights each time.

This content is inaccessible. The print is broken with some content printed on top of other content and pieces of the document missing. Illegible. I purchased this for a book club but when I opened the content I had to stop reading. I couldn't even follow along with other readers. There were no divisions for chapters. Very disappointing purchase.

This book cuts through a lot of the dogma that pits religions against each other and reminds me of the purpose of all religions, to unite people in love, compassion, and truth. Abdu'l-Baha offers wonderful insights into the teachings of various religions with a genuine respect for their original intentions. If only more of us could see our common goals and purpose like Abdu'l-Baha instead of focusing on differences, fear, and anger. Religion is meant to bring us together, not tear us apart.

This book is an excellent distillation of questions that a Christian might have about the Baha'i faith, asked by an early American pilgrim and answered by one of the faith's giants, Abdul Bah'a, the son of Baha'u'llah. If you're curious, or searching, or want to know more about how Christianity and this faith work together for the good of humanity and the glory of God, read this book!

This book is a gem of information and insight into many themes of Christian and Islamic beliefs. It explains many concepts from the Bible in terms that make sense for this day. I highly recommend it.
