ubee U10C035.30 D3.0 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem

I bought this and had to send it back. The cable was too short; the Ubee rep woman said she'd send a long cord--she did not. I wasn't going to move my desk in my small office to sit on top of the cable coming into the house. I sent it back and bought a Motorola at Walmart and it's been working fine for Wi-Fi and all other stuff for my laptop.

I never wanted to pay a modem rental fee when I signed up for Comcast Internet. I actually bought a modem router FROM THEM that they were never able to get working with their own network. I tried other equipment as well to no avail. I had them provide a rental, which was in fact an earlier version of this modem. When I saw this available, I decided to give it a try- it worked perfectly once I activated the modem on their network, which is a simple process that is well explained. This modem is slightly different than the rental was, it is a little less heavy and has a glow for lights that shows through the ventilation holes which the rental did not. The modem works well, and provides a solid, fast connection. It will pay for itself in avoided rental fees in 8 just months, even if Comcast does not raise their rates- which they already have once since I purchased this.

just an alert to future purchasers of this product - the price point is very good for this modem which is why I hurriedly bought it. it works fine, but you will need an additional router to support wifi.

Modem works great, but be warned that it no longer works with Comcast. I was informed by my installation tech today that they weren't able to activate it as it is no longer compatible with their service.

never worked, spent an hour on the phone with comcast trying to get it going, in the process of sending it back (at my cost)....had to buy a new one, the Motorola surfboard and it took less then 15 minutes on the phone to install

Super-duper. Cheap. Effective. Easy to install. My internet provider wanted to charge me monthly for this. 3 month's payment would pay for the full purchase.

Modem didn't work with Comcast even though it is listed on the cable company's website. I ended up buying the same modem the cable company uses - Cisco DPC 3008 - and the problem is solved.

Good price for this product. It works well with Comcast high speed internet. That's all I need. I would recommend it for others too.
