Adventure Collector's Edition - PC

Bought the collectuon for Rhem 2. (I couldn't get it alone for Vista and wanted to play the game.) But it wouldn't load on my computer like I had hoped, and locked up at the first of the game. Dissapointing to be sure.The other two games loaded fine. And I was able to play Scratches to the finish. Although it's not that "scarry" it did have some interesting turns and was an enjoyable play. As for Penumbra, it loaded and I guess someone with better hand coordination would have found it a lot of fun. I, unfortunatly , have arthritis in my left had (the one with allt he key moves in this game) and it made it pretty well impossible to use the key pad as needed. (Hence wanting both Scratches and Rhem as they are both "point and click" games.)All and all, I found the game I did get to run (Scratches) enjoyable and would recomend it to anyone who likes a good mind bender. Penumbra is good for someone who likes a more action type game. And I am SO dissapointed that I couldn't play Rhem 2. I will anziously wait for Rhem 4 due out in a few months.

First off I must say that you can't beat the price on this game pack! As far as the games go I will give a brief review:Rhem:I have played Rhem before and really enjoyed it. If you want story line and interaction with others this is not the game for you. It is a puzzle filled odessay! There are lots of places to explore and as you solve puzzles you get to go more places. Just my type of game!Penumbra: I have started playing this game, but have not gotten very far yet. I do not like the navigation much. It used the keyboard instead of just the mouse. I am sure I will figure it all out soon. The scenes are neat. Unlike Rhem that pivots you 90 degrees each time you turn right or left, you move more like in real life. Simular to Exile of the Myst games.Scratches: Sadly I have not played this game at all. I actually bought the collection for this game. The problem is with my computer. I have a new (2010) computer and it has Windows 7. I have not been able to get Scratches to run on my system. The system crashes when I try and load the game. I have called and e-mailed Got Game with not luck. The game pack does say for Windows XP and Vista so maybe I am just out of luck. So beware if you want to run this game on Windows 7, you may have problems. I did load it on an XP system and was abel to open it with no problem.

The game is obtuse and unclear. The interface is not intuitively obvious.I was disappointed and had hoped for something a little more clear as to how to play.

I was really looking forward to playing two of the games from this collection, Rhem 2 & Penumbra. However, Rhem 2 crashed just after I got the card and tried to use it. I retried it several times but it always crashes in the same place. Penumbra opens with sound only. The third I didn't think I'd like, but thought I'd give it a try since the first two were duds. That just brought up the infamous blue screen and I thought my computer was a goner. Luckily it rebooted ok, but I'm afraid to try it again. I bought this game in July but between tornado damage, other storms, and a vacation, have not had the opportunity to play it until now. I'm running it on a new PC with Windows 7. 4GB RAM, tons of hard drive space so I'm not sure what the problems are or if it was just a rip off DVD. Since all three have different problems, I'm guessing it's the latter. Too late to return it but totally ripped off by this vendor - It says sold by Spacebound, Inc. but when you click on it, it shows Galactics.

I was very satisfied with this product. It came right on time and all the games played excellently.

All but one of the games worked. I loved the ones I played. Great value for the product. But you need to fix the one that doesn't work.

I purchased this set of games hoping they would be a challenge. Well I'll never know. I can't get any of them to run. I have Windows 7 and I guess that's the problem. I went on some of the forums to look for help but couldn't find any. Any time I buy something now I read other customers reviews before I buy, they really do help. Thank you all for your time.

My son love's the Penumbra series. Arrived early. Great condition. PC games are the best and very cheap. I just need a bigger video card for my pc.
