I bought this for my kids for Christmas. They love playing basketball and I figured this would be a fun way to play later in the day. There are fun features like different colors and different light patterns. The only downside is that there is as remote which as we all know - remotes get lost easy.

We installed these on our basketball hoops for our kids. They absolutely love them! Easy to install, comes with a remote and the battery box is water tight as well. Great addition !

My son loves it

We really loved this set of lights after we installed them. It was really cool to see all the colors and they are bright enough to keep playing in the dark. But after it rained one time and the battery box got wet, it has never worked properly again. It does not turn on or off with the switch so we have to take the batteries out to turn it off, and it will not change colors any more. We were really disappointed.

The only good that came out of this was the picture I took after installing.It took about an hour to install because I was on a ladder, and while nothing was rocket science about the install, it was rather tedious.Looked great but the next day when my son and his friend started to play basketball? Disaster!Every time the ball hit the rim a zip tie would shatter into pieces. Within ten minutes, seven of the ten ties were in pieces on the ground. Like they were made of glass.Absolute garbage. So disappointed to do the work and have it fail in such a way. My son never even got to enjoy night play with the hoop, which was the reason for the purchase.Subpar Chinese materials, I’m supposing. Furthermore, you had to be right up on the battery box with the remote for it to work, which pretty much defeats the purpose of having a remote in the first place.If I could give no stars, I would. Spare yourself the headache and look elsewhere. This product does not deliver.

We bought this for night time play. I was trying to figure out how to light our street court at night. There are no street lights so its very dark at night. All options to install a permanent fixture were very pricey. This light rope was bought as a cute /fun idea. But it turned out to be the exact answer we were looking for! Its super BRIGHT!! Even the deepest blue was still illuminating to half court. There are so many options for the lights it was like an exciting game prize for the winner to pick the next light theme! I found myself just staring at it like a toddler enthralled by christmas lights for the first time! 😲The rope fit perfectly around the net with no extra overlap. Installation took 5 minutes, and all I needed were scissors to cut the excess zip tie. There was enough chord from the rim to the battery box / manual control button, that I was able to wrap it around the post like a candy cane decoration. Its all wheather proof. We bought with a light up basketball. Basketball at night is why more fun now and a lot safer too!!😁😁 -Mom of 7

I thought this was lights and net so disappointing this was a Christmas gift

Bought this as a gift for someone and this is how it arrived. The product photos show it in a box displaying the product. It comes as a plain cardboard box, not suitable to give as a gift. Disappointed and will be returning.
