Interdynamics 374CS Certified A/C Pro Oil and Fuel Systems UV Dye

Added to my lava lamps to make the lava (wax) UV/black light responsive. Works great. A little goes a long way. A drop or two is all you need. Using more will change the color of your wax. Highly recommend. Fluid is dark red but glows green on any color wax. Don’t expect it to make orange wax glow orange, etc. It does not change the color or leach into the fluid.

Does not identify leak

If you are chasing a "phantom" leak that seems to be dripping from the sump but you suspect is originating elsewhere, this UV dye is an absolute lifesaver. I used it to track down a stubborn leak on my Alfa. From underneath the car, everything pointed toward a sump gasket failure, but the dye revealed a completely different story. Once circulated, the fluorescent trail showed the oil was actually weeping from a seal much higher up the block and simply trailing down the casting.

Used this on my 2003 Toyota Corolla to track down a suspected leak. Did not end up finding one which is obviously good news, but the dye itself worked exactly as advertised. It glows very brightly under UV light making it easy to trace. Simple to use and gave me peace of mind knowing I could rule out a leak. Good product and would use again if I ever need to track down a fluid issue.

Used it for thr first time yesterday and discovered the source of my oil leak quickly . You will need a black light but they are cheap. Recommended .
