Very nice indicator holder. I am new to the machining world and am not a true machinist. I had a difficult time getting the magnetic indicator holders to work for me and found this one. I really like it and has made my life so much easier.

quality quality quality.I decided to try this based on good luck from other items sold by Anytime Tools. It's half the price as the known name brand but I doubt there is much if any difference in build quality. It's easily positioned but once locked by the wheel you could probably hang a hammer off it. I use the dovetail with my dovetail bestest 0.0001 dial indicator without a single issue. Dovetail is smooth, finish is not rough and knob is easy to dial by hand. Glad I got it instead of my knock off indicol style I threw away. I wish I started with this!

This holder is rigid enough for no hassle set up.

Nice tool for the home hobby machinist. Discovered a bit of marring on the ball after tightening but still gets the job done.

Works great, anybarm like this is not 100% rigid, but if used slow and gentle was great to tram my head

Short, but the build quality was surprising. It competes with expensive alternatives.

Out of the box, the test indicator arm works, however, the movement of the joints are not smooth. This is due to rough machining of the internal parts that do the locking. I've smoothed out most of these points, but still have to address two concave points that interface with the ball end of the shafts, that will take care of the remaining roughness. I'm giving four stars AFTER the above mentioned modifications.If you don't mind putting in the effort, it's not a bad buy.
