CYPRESS GROVE Midnight Moon

I HATE goat cheese BUT, I love this one. My daughter is lactose intolerant and loves pimento cheese. I made it with this cheddaresk goat cheese and it was amazing. If you love extra sharp cheddar cheese but can’t eat it, this goat cheese will make you happy!

The cheese arrived yesterday and we immediately sampled it. OMG! It's such a great cheese. My new favorite. It's expensive but worth it. I had bought a small piece at Whole Foods and loved it so much that I googled it and found it on Amazon. It was a bit more expensive, but saved me a 2 hour trip to drive and get it. I'm hooked.

Excellent cheese, its so nice to be able to have cheese that wont kill my gut. It has a fairly firm texture, but is easy to cut or even break when sliced. The flavor is kind of a mix between parmasian and swiss, goes wonderfully with plain crackers or on a salad. Cannot recommend this enough!

I've purchased this cheese twice on Amazon, both times it arrived quickly and in good order. This really has to be my favorite cheese with a red wine, both flavors complement each other, well worth the money.

Soft not firm, white not yellow, salty and the after taste, though hard to describe isn't pleasing. Won't buy again! Will stick with Spain or Italian cheeses, which are properly aged and without so many preservatives.

Not as good as I had hoped for. Especially for the $$ It was missing the nuttiness that I was used to tasting from midnight moon cheese I’ve had before from gourmet cheese shop. In all fairness I’m very picky.

I expected a 1 lb round cheese, not a cut slice. There was no way to tell if it was a full pound either.
