Perfect!
So cute! My son loves chasing thomas around the house. It goes pretty fast for a little train :) And the steam lighting up keeps him more entertained, too. Definitely recommend to any little Thomas fan!

Great toy!
We bought this for our 18 month old son who is just getting into trains and Thomas. He loves it! Great toy for a great price!

Expensive for size
This is ridiculously advertised. I saw the big Thomas the Train toy and thought it was larger. This toy was expensive and it is a tiny train. I was extremely disappointed for the size considering the price. This exact toy large at WalMart is in $19.99. Do NOT buy this toy.

15 month old loves this
This is our "go to" toy whenever I need a distraction for my 15 month old. It is pretty fast and goes about 15', so chasing it is fun. You have to push the coal box 3 times to get Thomas to go, so I taught my son "1, 2, threeeeee" and he got it after a couple of days. It has briefly stopped working a couple of times with no explanation, but it goes again after a few more tries. I've had it a month and put new batteries in so Thomas would keep his speed and distance, but for the use my son has gotten from it I didn't think that was bad. It's pricey and not worth the money based on material alone, which is why I'm only giving 4 stars, but I like it because it's simple and my 15 month old enjoys it.

Can be fixed if you are handy
If the motor has stopped working and you can get past the triangle the obstacle you will likely discover that one of the two motor wires has become detached. I re-soldered it into place and Thomas works great again. I will be returning the one I bought in replacement for the one I fixed though as it seems to be stuck in preview mode and only chiffon and not saying "can you help me build up steam?"
