Works up nice with long color blocks

While I liked the colors in the skeins I felt that the black in between was a bit much. I tried a few different patterns before I discovered that one that starts in the center and then builds around worked the best to alternate the colors satisfactorily. I crochet mostly and I must say that the consistency of the yarn was unsatisfactory. Some places it was as it should be and others way too thick and then others way to thin. Like from 6-8 strands down to 2 or maybe 3. To be fair that happened in only one of the skeins out of 12 that I ordered. The yellow color would be muddy at the beginning of the color sequence and looked like the black strand had touched it and left blotches. While I did like the end results, I was disappointed in the quality of the yarn. Too bad, Red Heart was my go to brand for good quality, cost efficient yarn. Apparently their quality control standards have dropped.

A little pricey, but works up great in the pooling if that's what you like

The rainbow colors also have threads of the black in them. It's not from rubbing off, etc. The black is woven in with it, making the colors look dingy and not as bright. Meant to use this to make a cool Pride gift for my son, who also loves black, but it just didn't look right.Next time I'll get rainbow yarn and black yarn separately and just alternate the black into the project. Then I'll get a strong black, but also a bright rainbow.

I am a beginner crocheter and found this yarn easy to use,a good value, and the color changes kept it interesting and fun! Arrived quickly. One skein made 2 arumigumi jellyfish, one size 1-2 year dinosaur hat, one set of 12 mos size mittens, and there is still a small amount left over.

Love the colors. The only thing is, the black, dark brown and dark purple and together and makes it look like it’s a lot of black

This okay yarn. I didn't know much about yarn quality when I bought it or how the pattern of the colors would work out. I know more now, but the yarn works out when you know what you're doing or what the purpose will be for it.

Great variations in color.Would have liked it in a larger ball but very pleased.

Making a sweater for my dog. Decided to mix two balls together for a thicker sweater. Love the way the colours are mixing!

I liked that you didn't have to keep changing colors to do the stripes. I made mittens for the grand kids. They loved them

Do knitting of toques scarves headbands to give away. But wool has become so expensive for seniors to do this. But this wool reasonable price. Can knit a whole set with one ball. Just wish more colours available at this price.

Bit expensive, but totally worth it, it knits really well, is soft and it looks great! Would defo recommend.
