Great for bugs of all sizes
This works great with getting everything that has snuck in. Moths, hornets, spiders. Easy to use and great for relocation without harm.

a surprisingly great tool
When I was given one of these for a present I thought, "Oh no..another plastic piece of junk that will wind up in a landfill". Then I tried it.It works just as advertised and has saved many spider lives in my house. With nine foot ceilings it is perfect for removing the house spiders high in the corners and is delicate enough not to damage their fragile legs. I have also used it for slow moving flies and even to remove a Black Widow and relocate her. I am obviously a lover of most lifeforms (though ticks are trying my compassion) and I find this such a useful item that I bought two more as gifts for friends.

Yes, this really does work
My daughter and I are arachnophobes so I thought I would try this thing out. I bought 2, one for me and one for her and her dorm mates. We were skeptical at first, but after practicing with a few non-spider items we were ready for our first unwelcome visitor. That day came soon enough. Yep, it works. Many bug evictions later, I can say I'm glad I have my Critter Catcher at the ready. The girls in the dorm are grateful too. My only complaints are that it's not good for the fast running invaders like centipedes and the bristle cover comes off too easily.

Second purchase, worth it!
We have millipedes and stink bugs, these are perfect for grabbing them. I hate touching bugs or picking them up with tissue. The handle is long enough that I'm comfortable grabbing them and taking them outside or flushing. The two I bought last year don't grip as well anymore, but I am trying to keep the covers on this time to help that. Try not to push down to pick up the bugs and that should also help. The hanger didn't stick, but not a big deal.

Great at catching bugs but…
They break easy and my last one broke recently. Well worth buying again I thought UNTIL the two I ordered arrived. As I was pulling the first unit out of the plastic, out jumps a big spider. My heart is still pounding. What kind of nasty joke was that to include a realistic looking plastic spider with each unit purchased? If it wasn’t for that, I’d have given you five stars but that is NOT funny.

Spider catcher, spider remover
I initially purchased this item for a relative in Northern California as they stated the spiders were big and of course they didn't want to kill them because they eat crickets, but they would often enter the house (grass spiders). The two packs I thought was great, as I could keep one for me in Southern California. Well, 10 minutes upon opening the item and I found the largest male grass spider in my house that I had ever seen underneath the cabinet at the toe kick in my bathroom. I was able to just open the catcher enough to fit in the toe kick and caught it on the first try. I took it outside and let it go. The next day my relative was able to use their catcher on a black widow that had gotten in, they took it outside and killed that one. I would have never believe this item could work so well......amazing.....well worth the money. I will be purchasing additional catcher for family members.

Does not work!
We bought these when they were advertised on TV. They were great!! We use it all the time. It catches everything we want it to. We decided to get new ones before our old one is totally worn out.We received the new ones a month ago. I just opened them. The new critter catchers are worthless! We can't catch anything. The bristles are too soft and won't hold onto the bugs. The bugs get away. We are so disappointed. What have you done to the quality of this product? It is so inferior to the original ones.I tried to return them only to realize it's been 2 days past the return date. Ugh! We are so upset. Oh, and the hook you send with it to hang, fell off the wall!

Replace your bowl and paper, get the Critter Catcher!
We just moved out to the country so I wanted a contraption to replace the "bowl and paper" system that I utilized when we lived in the city. I bought two, one for each side of the house so one would be handy at a moment's need. Although the Critter Catcher is on the pricey side for what it is, it works great, just as advertised! So far I have used it on one smallish spider (small by country standards) as well as some black ants that have been parading through the bathroom. It really does work, even on the ants, without injuring the critters. The only real drawback is that I wish it was a little bit longer - female Wolf spiders can be very intimidating-looking due to their robust size so the farther away I am to catch it, the better, lol! That said, I do highly recommend it for those folks who, like me, prefer to return critters to the outdoors where they belong without harming them. :)
