Tenex ATESA Elbow Shock Absorber - Black

This worked wonders on my tennis elbow! I was skeptical but it has truly been a game changer while playing pickle ball. No Advil in over a week!

I was a doubter - this looks so gimmicky that I didn't think it would work. My elbow/forearms had been hurting a lot from playing pickle ball just a couple times a week. I had tried wearing the tennis elbow armband which straps around the forearm, but that did not work for me - each time I played pickle ball my elbow/arm would hurt more. Another pickle ball player recommended the Tenex shock absorber to me - she told me her elbow had stopped hurting as soon as she started wearing the Tenex, and that other players she knew had recommended it as well. So I was willing to try. Surprisingly, this seems to work! I don't know how or why this works, but my elbow has stopped hurting as much over the past two weeks of wearing this. My only complaint is that the strap is hard to get on and off my wrist - it's a little flimsy and hard to thread the end of the strap through the buckle. Also, the strap is a little too long for my small wrist - the ends stick out quite a bit. But these are minor complaints - overall I'm pleasantly surprised.

Price was high but lowest I could find. This elbow shock absorber is the best we have found for prevention of tennis elbow.

This device helps with tennis elbow and shoulder issues BUT the plastic case breaks very easily and the device only lasts a month or two with daily use. After the case breaks, the strap will not hold the device to one's wrist. I bought several and each one ends up with the same result - a broken case. Superglue will not hold it together. I do not recommend buying this, especially as the price used to be about $25 and now is over $40.

I've tried all sorts of braces, wraps & straps, seriously I bought them all - this is the one that really seems to keep the pain away!I have kept the OS1st & Kunto Braces - that seemed to have helped when I had the pain but the pain still continued (of course I didn't stop playing...)Then found used the braces and this Tenex Shock Absorber and used both - and little by little the pain went away.Now I always use the TENEX when I play tennis (which is daily) - haven't used a brace in a few months. I have very minor pain - usually just a little stretching and massage helps afterwards.The very once in a while I forget the TENEX, I do notice extra soreness in my elbow and arm and notice need a day or two off. I just about never forget it anymore!!! I will be buying a second, to keep as a backup if this one ever fails. I don't ever want to play without this!Again, it took a while before I got better, but it was noticeable help with my healing once I got it and now with it on daily I feel great and can play every day!

I have been using Tenex for almost 7-8 years for tennis elbow and it is so effective for me. Product is great. However it breaks pretty soon. I thought I was handling it bad but the quality seems to be degrading over time. I hope Tenex can make it little bit durable and rugged to make customers follow their product. btw, its not cheap. I would expect a good quality for $50-$60 price line. 3 stars for being effective.

I purchased the device with some skepticism but willingness to try. I was concerned my pain was related to overuse, a problem that could not be solved so simply. For the last three months, I’ve been wearing the Tenex every day I play pickleball which is 4-5 days each week. Sometimes twice a day. I rarely notice any issues in my elbow when using the device. I believe it has solved the mild to moderate discomfort I was experiencing. It may or may not be beneficial to others depending on the underlying problem. For me, it’s a winner.

This item is perfect for shock absorption that will allow the use of any type of paddle rather than being stuck with one brand of special paddle. After having TE bad for almost 2 years and then finding this, I will never play without it!

Perfect exactly what I wanted

I am a avid squash player and have chronic tennis elbow for over 15 years and have been to many physio therapist with some relief but when I play hard its back. I was skeptical of this device but I have nothing to lose. I have been playing for a while now and this really does work. I am back near top of squash ladder. Thank you very much.

Works as advertised.

Doesn't work, waste of money. There is no way for this device to reduce vibrations. Which makes me wonder how it has so many positive reviews.
