Works great, packaged well so wouldn't tear in shipment. Greens yard well if you have alkaline or clay yard like mine. Noticed difference very quickly, especially after first rain. Two tips if you have the time-use a wheeled spreader (like for grass seed, will save you so much time), and 2-water the yard afterward. It forces the sulfur into the soil so it doesn't dissipate on just the top layer above ground. This will definitely increase its effectiveness by 50%. Really works great especially for the price. The only other item I could find was at lowes and was 1/5 size for $10.

Great value and just what I needed based on my soil test

This is an excellent source of nitrogen for acid loving plants. The acidity comes from the ammonium ion which is a weak acid. The Sulfate ion is a feeble base and the two together have a very mild acid reaction in soil. This seems to be fairly high grade judging from the lack of color and crystalline uniformity. This could be food grade, but is not labeled as such. It is also used as a dough conditioner in the baking industry. The price for this small quantity, though not cheap for fertilizer, is reasonable considering that the price included shipping with Amazon Prime.

I resilver mirrors as a hobby and needed some good clean ammonium sulfate to synthesize small amounts of highly concentrated ammonium hydroxide in the lab, and this really filled the bill. When I first opened the shipping container the very high quality of this product was apparent in its glassy white granules. When I used it in a reaction it produced exactly the amount of ammonia that I calculated. Also it was reasonably priced. A quality good reagent

I needed some ammonium sulfate, which I will be using to fertilize blueberry bushes. This stuff came in a USPS Medium flat rate box and was enclosed in a thick plastic clear bag. The granules look just like what is pictured.It mixes very well in water and after about a months use of this stuff, it appears to be helping my blueberry bushes grow a lot. I used one teaspoon of this stuff in 2 gallons of water twice a week per bush. They weren't growing much before, but now they are growing like crazy.It also appears to green up my Bermuda grass (I did a little test on a patch of grass), although I probably wouldn't use this for your lawn unless you have alkaline soil.Overall, this is some great stuff. I highly recommend it.

I'm extremely unhappy with this fertilizer. Not because it doesn't do a good job because I don't know if it does or doesn't. But because there are no directions on the Product Packaging and I have no idea how to use this product and so it sits.

You never know what you'll get now-a-days in the mail order business. I did not have this chemically tested but I sprinkled some on my lawn and that section is two shades greener than the rest of it. I use this for blueberry fertilizer. The family was worried because of the chemical name, but the product is on almost every loaf of commercially available bread, so it's obviously safe for garden fertilizer.

Used on my dwarf citrus trees, they now have blossoms!
