Unleashed: The Cursed Trilogy, Book Two Paperback – Large Print, March 23, 2021

Like book one, book 2 doesn't have a lot of plot and character development. I love when there are hot, intimate scenes, but it's almost all there is in this book. The author mentions that our MC trains as much as possible with her men, but you rarely see it....unless sex is training....Maybe book 3 will explain why it was important to bring in our MC`s mom and cousin...but by the end of this book we still don't know why they were brought into the story line.The drama with our MC`s vampire is getting a bit ridiculous. My question is....if you were brought up to believe you would have a soul mate, like our vampire was, then why is he taking all of this so poorly? I get wanting to control your own destiny, but once that Destiny shows that the person you were dreading meeting isn't all that bad, why continue fighting it? It's all a bit corny. My final question is....since he already physically bonded to her he should have all his power....so why didn't he hear the bad guys pull up and why couldn't he escape?On to book 3 since I already purchased the set. As with book 1, this book had potential. Maybe the author could focus a little less on the sex scenes so the actual plot can be developed.

I do like the storyline is taking a turn. It has more action and we learn more about the characters. Their personalities are becoming stronger and allowing me to enjoy them more. There is still a little more sexy scenes then action but it is becoming quite a bit more than just those scenes. Don’t get me wrong I love sexy scenes but not when the whole book is nothing but that. Otherwise, it is shaping up to be a very intriguing story.

This story is fantastic! I love some characters, then hate them, then love them again and are rooting for them. It’s such a roller coaster! One of my favorite things about Betty’s writing is she doesn’t fill the pages with inner monologue that repeats itself over and over. I find it so refreshing to read a book where I don’t skip entire paragraphs because I already know the information.

I absolutely love this series and the writing. The characters are exciting and have depth while the fast-paced plotline rolls on. Cannot wait for more, Betty Legend is officially a one-click author for me.

I just Love Love this series so much and I love Selena and Her mates so much and I recommend this series to everyone and you want be disappointed

Nothing like a rejected mate type trope to make it great. A bit more angst and sweetness. Really enjoying this series. Lovely pace and just enough depth.

Oh my goodness I am loving this so far, these interactions between the characters make me laugh out loud! Such a great story line

This second book in author Betty Legend’s RH Urban PNR series is every bit as hot and steamy as its predecessor and picks up pretty much where the first book finished. Please be aware that you absolutely have to have read UNBOUND first!!!We’d met the first three of Selene Delavore’s men in the first book, and I have to say that I absolutely love Emeric. I’m not going to expand on that because you’ll have to read and make up your own mind, but I’m telling you now that this bad boy demon/angel has captured not only Selene’s heart, but mine as well. Killian and Phoenix are the new men to watch in Unleashed, but the Holy Accolades have their own deadly agenda and manage to inflict a lot of pain and torment on one of the group.One thing that I absolutely admire about Ms Legend’s writing is the importance that she placed on the individual relationships that Selene has with each man, as well as the male bonding and friendships that they have between each other. I adored that, plain and simple.Hell’s teeth, I can’t wait for the final book in the trilogy!!! 4 Stars 🖤😈🌟

Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

Enjoyable to read it was very steamy and hot i feel sorry for phonix he wants selene but he also does not want her he wishes he could have her to himself but resents that four more share her too now he lusts for her blood looking forward to more stories

An excellent continuation of the series and well worth the read. I look forward to reading the last book to see how the story’s finale unfolds.

The first book was amazing but this book to it to a whole new level! It was epic I cannot wait to read the next one!
