Pure Raw Texas Honey โ Rich, Smooth, and Delicious
I recently tried Desert Creek Honey (100% Unfiltered, Pure, Raw Honey from Texas), and Iโm genuinely impressed with the quality. You can immediately tell this is real, raw honeyโnot the overly processed kind you find in most stores. The flavor is rich, smooth, and slightly floral with a natural sweetness that isnโt overpowering. It tastes fresh and authentic, which makes sense since itโs unprocessed and comes straight from the hive without pasteurization or heavy filtering . What I really appreciate is that this honey retains its natural enzymes, pollen, and nutrients, which you donโt get with processed brands . Itโs perfect for tea, toast, cooking, or even just a spoonful on its own. Another plus is the consistencyโit has that natural, slightly thick texture you expect from raw honey. Many customers also mention the rich flavor and good value for the amount you get . Overall, this is high-quality, authentic Texas honey made by real beekeepers, and it shows in both taste and purity. Iโll definitely be buying it again.

Fantastic Raw Honey Great flavor and Great color
Thank you Desert Creek for this fantastic honey. I love it and will order it again! One thing that was a little confusing was the weight so I looked it up. This may be helpful to others. You may want to put some of this information about the weight of honey on your amazon page and/or your webpage. Is honey heavier than water? If youโre measuring out water, then 1 fluid ounce of water, which is a measurement of volume, weighs exactly 1 ounce. However, because honey is so much denser than water, it weighs a good deal more. This means that 1 fluid ounce of honey will actually weigh a little bit more than 1 ounce. How much does 16 fluid ounces of honey weigh? Sixteen fluid ounces or 1 pint of water is almost always exactly 16 ounces or 1 pound in weight, except for when the temperature of the water is very warm. Honey, however, is much heavier. Sixteen ounces of honey is only equal to about 11 fluid ounces. This means that if you need 16 fluid ounces of honey, the weight of that amount of honey will be just over 23.2 ounces, or a bit more than 1 pound. Almost all honey weighs relatively the same. However, exactly how much honey weighs will depend on the type of honey and what particular nectar was used to make it. It will also depend on how the honey was processed after it was collected. How much does 1 gallon of honey weigh? We know that 16 fluid ounces of honey weighs 23.2 ounces. There are 128 fluid ounces in 1 gallon. This means that, in order to figure out how much 1 gallon of honey weighs, we need to first divide 128 by 16. The answer is 8, which tells us that there are 8 pints in 1 gallon. We can then multiply 8 by 23.2 since there are 23.2 ounces in 1 pint of honey. The answer is 185.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs 185.6 ounces. There are 16 ounces in 1 pound, so we can simplify our answer by dividing by 16. The answer is 11.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs just over 11 and a half pounds. : )

Cap to Pour Honey is on the Wrong Side
Well the honey is good, but there is one problem with the jug. You need to change the top so that the pouring part is on the right side to pour; not on the side where the handle of the jug is. Iโve tried to screw it in at different angles, but it always ends up back to the same spot. I have attached a photo.

excellent dark honey with strong flavor more beneficial to your body
The honey is thin this year but as a beekeeper I have also had my honey thin it is due to the time the honey is pulled for harvest. The longer it sits in the honey comb the thicker it gets. The dark color is due to the type of flowers in the area which darker usually means more nutrients and beneficial effects. Which is what brought me to buy the darker honey to begin with. I've had this honey before and I trust the company because bees and the flowers they go to can vary just like each season of harvest. Thankful to get dark honey locally.
