Knight: A Reed Security Romance

OMG! I cried so much while reading this book. My heart broke for Kate. A must read but in order.

Be prepared for some spoilers. So I enjoyed the 1st book, the 2nd was ok, and the 3rd went downhill fast for me. But this one? It's redeemed the series! I only hope the rest are as good.Something about Knight and Kate that won me over. Complete opposites - a doctor and an assassin - coming together with chemistry up the ying-yang! I loved that they were so aware of each other even when she couldn't see him and even after he was gone.Now, that part was a bit far fetched seeing as how Kate and Hunter left him, I'm not sure how Sebastian and crew got in and got Knight undetected by the other two. But that's besides the point. The story was good and the wrap up of his old life and alter ego was well done and actually thought out. So it was nice to have that closure and bringing them together for good. Yeah... I'm talking to you book one where you ended with a lollipop "marry me someday" message and no real closure! (Yes, I'm holding a grudge on that one).This book was a perfect combination of love, vengeance, passion, and redemption. And his new name really was the perfect combination of old and older brought together for his new life with Kate.One complaint for book 3 was they didn't have a cast of characters like the first two... And I was pleasantly surprised this one had it! (The back and forth with the names still throws me off). And then I was annoyed because it had all the kids and relationships listed too... Um. None of them exist yet except like one! Sigh. Getting ahead of yourself there, Giulia.But anyway, definitely a good read that kept me interested and wondering what chaos would happen next.I see the next book is for Irish. And honestly, I couldn't remember who that was at all... Read the excerpt. It's Derek! I don't think they called him Irish in this book at all, did they?! The dual names is getting old.We'll see what Derek's story holds next.

Such a great series! I can’t stop reading them all 😩I love them all and can’t wait for all of their stories to unfold. I almost thought Knight was dead!!! I almost skipped chapters but restrained myself 😅😂

I read these books as a box set, but came back to mark each individual book as read and then give some reviews. Basically, read these books!! These are amazing books!I binge read the books in about 2 weeks!This books gas a slight dark side to it, but the way Knight changes because he loves Kate is so amazing.

Oh be still my heart. Where do I even begin… I loved how Knight was super protective over Kate. The way that she had that connection with him by being able to sense his presence without being able to see him was incredible. She knew that she was always safe when she felt that it and when she didn’t Pappy wasn’t to far away keeping check on her. Pappy and Knights friendship was strong and never once did Pappy ever give up on Knight no matter what was happening. And when the time come for Knight to make life decisions I loved how he didn’t think twice about it. He did what he had to do to become the man Kate deserved. This book literally made me laugh, made me mad at times, and even pulled on my heart strings a little bit. But this is by far my favorite Reed Security Book. 🖤🖤🖤

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.I love this series and Knight simply does not disappoint.Knight was firmly on his life path, a hard & cold & lonely path which was a result of a past decision that Knight was strong enough to make even though he knew it would raze his future. And then, after years of merely existing, he encounters the only thing that would penetrate his shell, something he never expected, planned for or wanted: a companion for his life.As Knight & Kate play a chess game with their emotions, rationalizations and potential relationship, their hearts (and Knight's soul perhaps) are on the board. Their back and forth is fascinating, understandable and at times absolutely heartbreaking.I found the plot, both the romance and suspense elements greatly entertaining and held my interest: there were no parts I wanted to skim over.I found Knight's character chilling, sexy and sympathetic, while Kate overall was reasonable, fair, strong and brave enough to handle Knight.Hunter (Pappy) plays frequently in this novel and he is a true friend and brother to Knight, caring and loyal with a tendency to tease Knight in a way no one else would dare to do or could get away with. Cole appears several times to help and support his cousin Kate. Sean pops up once or twice and there are little bits with Cap too.I truly enjoyed this story, it had suspense, romance, heartbreaking elements and dashes of humor that broke the tension.Although it may be read as a standalone, reading the previous books will vastly enhance the experience, you'll better understand the other characters and their dynamics, as well as the past events that shaped their personalities.An excellent and wonderful addition to the series!

Ok I'm not going to lie, I usually don't cry over people, however towards the end of this story I had big tears falling over Knight and Kate's subsequent meltdown. Pappy's guilt and grief was just the icing on the crying cake. Kudos to Giulia for creating such gripping characters that you just get so invested in. Wish I could give this one more than 5 stars.

I am obsessed with these books... i started with Sean last week.. i finished every book in a week and a half because i simply couldn't put them down once i started.. i started Knight this morning... should have gone to bed hours ago as it's now almost 3 am right now but i got soooo lost in this book i literally lost track of time. Will definitely be recommending these to my book lover friends and family. They have everything i could ask for in a romance novel even the one that didn't end in a HEA. I read parts to my 13 year old who hates reading and she loved what i read to her and said once she's a little older she wants to borrow them. Will be re-reading these for years to come!!

I hardly ever leave a book unfinished as it always ends up bugging me as I have to know what happens but this was just not good, I didn’t really like either character, both were one dimensional and annoying, it wasn’t particularly hot or suspenseful or romantic either…… definitely not for me

Well this was, at times, a dark and delightful tale made lighter by love, honor and commitment!A wonderful, fast paced, action packed story!Loved it.

I wasn't expecting to get sucked onto this so quickly but this has me swear because of a certain messed up character and crying with another.I truely enjoyed this book I haven't read the others in the series but I'm going to because they talked about events that pervious book but it didn't get in the way if the story in this one.

I loved the characters in this book Kate was just so in love with Garrick and he was in and out of her life because of his job he shouldn't be near her but he also couldn't leave her alone he followed her around always in the background , Kate wanted more something he couldn't give her , this book had me laughing and then crying my eyes out it was a real rollercoaster .
