Game changer
I was downright tired of spending $100 + on sleeping bags for my various backpacking adventures in a variety of elements and weather conditions. I came across this bag and purchased it prior to my 3 night backpacking trip in the Ottawa National Forest in early Oct. - and it worked amazingly. It kept me warm and comfortable on each night when the temps went from 55F to 43F all the way down to 29F on the last night. I'm a large guy, 5'9" and about 230 with some very broad and wide shoulders - it's a mummy bag so it's snug but I am able to get all the way down in and zip it up without much issue. It's made of excellent quality material and the zipper is great - very few snags even when fumbling around with it in the dark. Packed very easily in my pack and the compression bag in comes in also does a great job. I have ZERO complaints.Pros:- Affordable- Lightweight- Good quality- SizeCons:- NoneOverall consensus - BUY THIS BAG!

Seams are falling apart
My son was excited for this sleeping bag to come since he bought it with his own money. The only good with this sleeping bag is that it backs down to a very small size. The bad would be that the seams have started pulling apart and after two nights of use. The stitches appear to be about 3.5 stitches per inch, I would imagine that is fairly light, especially on the zipper. I was able to sew the seams since I do have a sewing machine, but after 2 nights of use? I am not sure what will happen to the rest of the seams if he uses this bag for scout camp. Also to reinforce the seams I am sure the “water proofing” would now be ruined.I did not rate this sleeping bag on the temperature rating but I would assume how light the material is it would not be good to below 60 degrees. Also my son was not a sweaty mess when sleeping in his bed at home.I would pass on this as you can find much better quality bags for the same price point. The first photo shows the failure in the hood portion of the bag.The second photo show my repair on one side of the zipper. Both sides did fail.

Good kids indoor sleepover bag
I bought this after reading the great reviews - thought it was an inexpensive, lightweight alternative to the big name sleeping bags out there for a backpacking trip to Alaska (during the summer so nighttime temps never got below 50). I always sleep fully clothed when I camp and hike, as I get cold easily, so I thought the combo would keep me warm. I was wrong. I froze my butt off even when sleeping in the warming huts, and ended up having to use my emergency bivvy every night to get to sleep. This might work for guys or people who tend to run hot, but if you tend to sleep cold and can’t sleep unless you’re warm, this is not the bag for you! Spend the extra $$ and get something higher quality so you can enjoy your experience. On the flip side, if you need a good kids sleepover bag, my daughter loves it for sleepovers, as she runs hot and generally doesn’t sleep in the bag anyway.

Great bag for the money!
Very nice bag for the money. The construction and materials seem really good. It's not super thick; but that's not what I was going for. I plan to do most of my camping over Spring/Summer/Fall, and this will fit the bill quite nicely. Plus, I naturally sleep hot; so a thinner bag is better for me anyway. The only suggestion I would make is to use a quick release buckle for the compression straps. The straps tend to disconnect, and can be a pain to thread back in when the bag is stuffed inside. It's not a major issue though, because I will just stuff the bag in the bottom of my pack anyway, and not use the provided stuff sack.

Loved it, then hated it.
Order this sleeping bag for a 3 day backpacking trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Great size, light weight and warm as you need it to be. It dropped into the low 30's at night, but I wan't cold. Until the last night, the zipper popped and the seam tore and unleashed the inner stuffing. Needless to say I struggled through the night. It's a great bag otherwise.

Waterproofing keeps the bag from absorbing dew when in contact with the tent sides!
I did not know this bag was waterproof when I bought it for my Boy Scout son. It is even better than what I thought I was buying him. It is a three season bag for most places, and a four season bag in South Carolina, where the water-proofing was a very nice and pleasant surprise.

Great value for the price
Overall this bag is very decent. The only real problem I have with it is the zipper. It catches the fabric unless you are extremely deliberate and cautious. It is very light and compacts in it's compression sack to a small bundle.Tested at 50 degrees in a hammock and it was very warm without a pad.Great value for the price

Poor insulation doesn't hold true to 24F temp rating
Good price, weight and size however I was very disappointed with the temperature ratings on this bag. I went camping in aspen, CO over Labor Day weekend and was shivering the whole night despite it only dropping to 35F in the mountains and wearing all my clothes, gloves and hat. The details advertise 24F which do not hold true with the poor insulation with this sleeping bag. If you think it may be below 40 where you're using this, opt for a better lined sleeping bag. If it's going to be a warm summer night then this will serve its purpose.
