Insulated Stainless Steel Tumbler Cup with Sliding Splash-Proof Lid (30 oz)

An excellent cup, keeps iced drinks cold longer than styrofoam, and doesn't eventually sweat, leak, or crumble away.It is a little heavier than I'm used to a drink cup being. Too heavy to tell if it's empty just by picking it up. It is well-balanced though. But maybe if it were heavy mainly at the base, it would be even more stable.My main nitpick with these is that the base seems slightly too large to fit my preferred cupholder in the car, so I have to use another spot. A little closer to the fast food companies' outer dimensions might improve compatibility in that regard.So ideally for me... slightly smaller base diameter, and lighter overall yet still a little bottom heavy. It is already great at what it's intending to be tho, so 5 stars even without those suggested details improved.

I just received this item a few days ago and decided to test it's ability to keep coffee hot. So off I go, to my local 24 hr. convenience store armed with a thermometer probe. First thing I did was fill up and shock the Aquaflask 30oz.Tumbler with very hot water (170 degrees) for 30 seconds.Here are my findings:Sunny morning with outside temperature around 75 degrees. Tumbler stayed in my vehicle the entire time for this evaluation.08:30am - Tumbler full of coffee at 170 degrees. Very Hot - Small Slurps only09:30am - Tumbler 3/4 full of coffee at 150 degrees. Hot - Sweet spot10:15am - Tumbler 1/2 full of coffee at 140 degrees. Hot - Sweet spot11:15am - Tumbler 1/3 full of coffee at 125 degrees. Very warm, but still hot enough to drink and enjoy.I stopped drinking the coffee at around 10:45am and just took a sip after taking the temperature at 11:15am just to see if I would like the coffee at 125 degrees. I found by doing this test that I actually really enjoy my coffee the most somewhere between 130 - 160 degrees.Pros:Fits the cup holder in my car.Outside of Tumbler did not get hot, moist or spill.Does not feel or look cheap.Reasonably priced.Cons:It's a little too big for a coffee mug (I'm going back to my old 20 oz mug I've been using for 5 years now). But if you are using the AquaFlask for water/soda/juice then this 30 oz size tumbler is actually pretty good. And that's actually what I'm going to start using it for.Bottom line:I paid $16.00 for this AquaFlask Tumbler. Knowing what I know now, would I buy it again or as a gift for someone?YES.

Is there a trick to this???? I got it today excited to use it and I was so disappointed!!!! It didn't hold my full cup of ice for even 3 hours!!!! Your description is very inaccurate!!!!! I buy from Amazon weekly and I can't believe they would even sell this product! I'm a unhappy customer.

Amazing! After months of looking in every retail store for a travel mug I am relived and happy to have Aqua Flask. Aqua flask is is sturdy,fits in car cup holders, and keeps cold for hours! I recently left it in my car in 95 degree heat for 3 hours in direct sun. To my surprise the ice inside it was still old and my drink still cold. I love the water tight lid which moves back and forth to open and close and can hold a straw. Buy this! You won't be disappointed!

I have long been debating buying a vacuum insulated cup, and ma very glad hat I made this purchase.The quality is excellent, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can fill the cup with ice water in the evening, and in the morning there is still ice in the cup! I'm sure that it works similarly well for hot liquids, but I exclusively bought this for iced beverages.Overall 5/5 stars, no cons to this product. Highly recommended product.

How cool to receive an email from the owner of this company asking me what I thought of this product and if I could please write a review.Part of my job is on the road and I was looking for something that would keep my coffee hot for an extended period of time. I saw that there are tumblers that you can plug into your car to keep warm but it is a personal preference that I just do not want to mess with that. I should be driving, not fumbling with plugging in a warmer or working with one. My father gave me this one to try and I ordered a replacement for him as I was not giving his back!First this product does keep your cold beverages cold and your hot beverages hot. I also like that the lid comes apart for easy cleaning.I found that for the best result you should prime your tumbler prior to each use. If you will be using your tumbler for cold beverages then keep it in the refrigerator before you are ready to use. This will keep ice in the tumbler the entire day at least. If you want to use it to hold hot coffee, then add hot water and let it sit for a while - I did for an hour. The greater the temperature the longer the coffee will stay hot. Coffee was extremely hot for a few hours and by the time I was done with my day it was no longer hot but lukewarm.If you add a hot beverage to this flask without priming it prior to use then the coffee did not stay hot for long. For mornings when I'm in a rush this would be annoying for me but what I was looking for to take along on long trips.If you prime your tumbler and then use coffee from a Keurig machine, your coffee will not remain hot. You have to use coffee from a brewed pot for the highest temperature or the coffee cools must faster.This tumbler holds 6 cups of coffee and creamer - perfect size to keep me awake to my destination and back!

Saw the aquaflask as a daily deal and decided to pick it up because it was reasonably priced and sent to my door. I have been very pleased with the cups ability to keep my drink cold. The ice from home stays all day when I'm at work with multiple refills.

I recently purchased this while it was on sale. Upon retrieval, the latch for the lid was very difficult to move. I had to use a metal object to slide it up and down the track. After doing this a few times though it loosens and is not a struggle. I've only used it a handful of times thus far and found that it keeps my drink warm for 2 hours. I would not pay $50 for it but I got it on sale for $15 and I think that's what it is worth.
