Works for fleas, safe for baby
I ran across this item while searching for something other than Babyganics to try that might have better results, and we have been pretty happy with it.Our situation is, we're dealing with a flea infestation from a cat we fostered during the summer. A couple months ago, those little effers started dining on my 1 year old. They hadn't previously bothered her, but suddenly she was covered in bites, it was--oh, man, it was heartbreaking and horrifying to see that many bites on a baby. So we tried babyganics, and it worked a little to reduce the bites she was receiving, but needed to be reapplied constantly and was only partially effective. So we tried this stuff. And boy, I wish I'd tried this FIRST. It's mainly just diluted cedar oil, so I kind of feel it's over-priced, but it does work. Baby has no reaction to it, she smells of lovely cedar, and the fleas steer clear of it, for the most part. She still gets the occasional rash of bites, but it's usually when I am more forgetful about spraying this on her, and certainly not as frequently as before or extensive when it does happen. It does need to be reapplied periodically, but not as often as other bug repellents we've tried.

I hate pine smell, but this works!!
I hate the smell of evergreens, but all other big sprays don’t do ANYTHING about mosquitoes. My backyard is covered in mosquitoes, despite me having no standing water, and I’m a magnet for these pests. I go out to water my plants every day and come back in covered in bites. So I got desperate enough to try this stuff that smells like evergreen. It works really well! The only thing is that I’ve got to actually spread it all over my arms and legs; can’t just squirt a dab here and there or they’ll bite in between the dabs. So rub it around and cover any exposed skin and it’ll keep the mosquitoes off.

Works Well
So far it's working to keep the flying biters away from me (and they usually LOVE me), so I'm very happy about that, since I didn't want to use DEET every day. I even tried to make my own version of this using cedarwood essential oil and distilled water, but it wasn't the same, it didn't match this product's effectiveness, so I'm assuming their combination of cedar oil and hydrated silica must be the secret. One word of caution, if anyone is sensitive to sprays, the cedar oil in this can be pretty intense when you spray it, so follow the directions on the bottle and don't spray in confined areas or obviously around anyone allergic to cedar.

This product is awesome. I was skeptical but I wasn't spraying my babies with deet on our camping trip so I decided to give it a try. Not gonna lie... The smell wasn't my favorite. It wasn't awful but we joked about how we smelled a little like cedar chips from when we had hamsters growing up (does NOT smell like hamsters, haha). I still think the smell was much better than regular bugspray. It was totally worth it though. The mosquitos and biting flies wouldn't come near us and after the first day Everyone in my extended family wanted to use it also. You must try this.

Great except for around termites
This worked really well for most insects. However, I tried it on a recent camping trip in NorCal & it started attracting termites! We had them flying hard at us! Not sure if it was just coincidental or if they're really attracted to the cedar smell. So, if you're going to be in an area known for termites, go with something else.

Works, but overpriced.
The listing did not state a size so I was expecting at least an 8 oz bottle - wow was I wrong. Only 2 ounces. Works, but way overpriced for the size bottle..

Ticks hate this stuff and therefore I love it.

Use this instead of the chemical-laden garbage
Great natural bug spray. With all the chemical garbage out there, unless you have your own essential oil pharmacy and know some recipes, this is the quick, economical and effective option to keep on hand!
