Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel for All Skin Types, Oil-Free Face Wash with Grapefruit & Papaya Extract, Remove Excess Oil & Surface Impurities

I Used this years ago after I had a facial and they recommended for my skin type. I used other products between but then came back to this cleanser. It’s moderately priced for the amount you get. It’s creamy lather feels soo good on your face and after I rinse my face it feels so clean.

This product is amazing. My skin is prone to breakouts and very sensitive. I've used so many different products - Cetaphil, La Roche, Aveeno, Neutrogena, Clinique, Bioré, Differin, - the list goes on and on. Nothing helped. My skin would break out worse and worse. I used the Differin for over 6 months and continued to have the worst skin of my life, same with La Roche. I just gave up. I had purchased some Mario Badescu Rose Hand Cream and Rose Lip Balm and was super happy with both, so I thought what the heck. When it got here, I had 7 very deep under skin pimples on my chin and several blackheads. Like I said - I gave up trying. I used this once and my skin felt so soft and clean for the first time ever. I usually don't get that effect with cleanser. Plus, it smelled really good! So twice a day, I began washing my face with this stuff. I just enjoyed the way my skin felt and the scent so much that it wasn't a pain to wash my face - I enjoyed it. Like I said, I wasn't really concerned with the acne, so I didn't use any other product. By day 5, my skin is almost clear. I am not kidding you. This is serious. A face cleanser that smells good, softens my skin, does not dry it out, and treats my acne without going through step after step. I am crying. This has been an absolute life changer. I just purchased the Cucumber Cleanser and Aloe Moisturizer. Trust me, give this a try. You won't regret it.

I’ve been using this once or twice a week for years and I really believe it’s one of the reasons I still (at age 61!!) get compliments on my complexion. I particularly like to put it in before I get in the shower & let the steam work. My skin feels super soft & super clean. Combined with the fact that it’s really inexpensive so I don’t even feel guilty purchasing.

Love it!! The smell is amazing, it's gentle to use everyday. It exfoliates without hurting your skin. It took me awhile to figure out harsh products are not for me! This stuff works without harsh chemicals. I had horrible skin for years and thankfully I found Mario's line of products! My routine: night- I wash my make up off with cetaphil (for normal to oily skin), cleanse with the enzyme gel, tone with the special cucumber lotion. morning- only cetaphil again, then tone with the cucumber lotion and finish with mario badescu moisturizer with SPF 17. I don't use this again in the mornings bc all I did over night was sleep so there isn't anything really to cleanse. Plus it makes this last way longer. I get a pimple here and there still, but Basically only around the time of the month, but NOTHING like in the past. My skin overall looks so healthy and is so soft! The oiliness in my skin has also gone down a lot since following this routine. Go Mario!

I’ve been using this product for quite some time, as many facial cleansers are made for sensitive skin but are actually harsh. I especially need help in colder months in the Midwest. I use this cleanser year-round, keeping one in the shower and one by my bathroom sink. If I’ve worn makeup or used tanning solution, I use cotton rounds and micellar water to remove as much dirt, etc. and then will follow up with this cleanser. It never leaves my skin dry and peeling like other cleansers. I immediately follow cleansing by using a vitamin C serum, maybe a toner or just moisturizer. Always moisturizer! I’ve been using the hydrating moisturizer with Biocare & hyaluronic acid by Mario Badescu. The price of the cleanser is more than competitively priced, effective and is long-lasting. What’s not to love? They also make a travel- sized bottle. I’ve bought it at Ulta. I refill it when traveling, so I can have the same happy face wherever I go!

I have oily skin and this isn’t cutting it. I suppose it works well for sensitive and / or dry skin though, so if that’s your case it might be worth a shot. Good soft smell, lightweight texture.
