Goes great in my bike mount
Perfect power for its size and it goes great in a bike mount. Not to thick or heavy so it can fit in your hand and you won't even notice you have it.

Good Value
Excellent light. This flashlight uses 3 AAA batteries but they last a long time and the light is very bright.

Versatile Zoom Function On This Bright Goreit E6 LED 5 Mode Flashlight
I have a new, favorite flashlight. It is the Goreit E6 Ultra Bright Zoomable 5 Mode LED Flashlight and boy, is it versatile!Measuring in at a little over 5 inches in length, the flashlight is an easy to use, handy size.Made of an aluminum alloy, the casing is a metallic black color, which has a substantial feel, but without excessive weight or bulk.3 AAA batteries are required (not included.) The batteries you provide slip into a removable cylinder chamber, which is accessed by unscrewing the end of the flashlight.Raised indicators on each wall of the cylinder show you the direction in which each battery must be placed.Featuring a zoom light function, which is operated by moving the ridged channel (located at the front of the light) backward and forward. This ridged channel has just the right amount of resistance, so that once your desired zoom mode is achieved, it stays in the exact spot until you move it.The different lighting modes are changed by pushing the soft button located at the end of the light. The modes are high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. (The light switches to 'off' between modes for ease of use.)A fisheye type lens is utilized, which magnifies the LED and assists in the zoom function. This lens can be unscrewed for easy cleaning.I am truly impressed by the brightness of this light in all of the 5 modes and equally impressed with the added versatility of the zoom feature.Comes with an attached cord handle, which is just the right size to slip over your wrist, so that you avoid dropping the light while you are using it.The brand, 'Goreit' and a model number are etched into the handle area of the light. The Goreit E6 Ultra Bright Zoomable 5 Mode LED Flashlight has completely exceeded my expectations. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend it!I am an avid consumer and aficionado of innovative, useful products. I do not work for the manufacturer or the company who distributes this item. This product was provided to me at a discounted price to test and review with my honest personal opinion. My review is based on my own experience with and evaluation of this product. Incredible value when higher end brand names go for over $100
Really great flashlight... the all-aluminum case has a very good feel and heft. The brightness is really amazing - if you're used to little incandescent bulbs or most dome-shaped LEDs, you'll be blown away by this.In the box - the flashlight, a AAA battery holder (no batteries) and a plastic sleeve that is a size adapter for the optional rechargeable battery - keep this plastic tube on hand in case you want to go the rechargeable route. You can buy a 2-pack of 18650 batteries with a charger for about 10 bucks. One thing that I think sets these Goreit lights apart is that the lens is actually glass... meaning that there is little distortion or aberration that leads to bright/dim spots in the beam - there's no ring effect of cheaper lights that go through a plastic lens or use a chrome-coated reflector. The LED bulb shines directly into the glass lens and the beam stays bright and very, very even. And the aluminum housing extends just a bit past the lens so it's quite protected from drops and bumps.I noticed some but not a huge difference in the three brightness modes- all are still quite bright and for general use you might like to keep it on a lower setting and save some battery life. I hunt in the back country and like having the SOS mode. Normally I think of that type of thing as kind of gimmicky, but it's a meaningful tool when the light is this bright and also zoomable. It took me just a moment to figure out switching modes. I have a Goreit headlamp too, and that changes modes with just a single press. With this flashlight, you click twice - turn off and then back on - to change modes. Or you can press gently 1/2 way to cycle through the modes. One thing that would be an improvement - I'd like it if turning off the the light cycled it back to full power mode as the starting point when the light is turned back on. That way, it would always start on full power mode, which I expect to use most often. The upshot is that this is a great light and very good value. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it - but if I were doing it again, I would definitely spend the extra ~$7 to get the full kit that comes with a charger, bike mount, battery, and charger... That's the full package for an incredible price.
