Oneida Air Systems Supercell High-Pressure HEPA-GFM Dust Collector (55-Gallon)

My plan is for the Supercell to be connected to all my shop machines, but until I can install the ductwork I'm using it on my tablesaw and planer. I've been very satisfied so far. I think all the reviews praising its performance are justified.

I've had several dust collectors over the years for my small workshop. I've had Laguna, Jet and Grizzly but this is the first collector that has the suction that pulls the dust from my tools. It is so strong I can feel it pull my push stick into the opening on my router table. The size of the entire unit is tall but narrow and fits very well into my cramped workshop. I opted for the 33 gal bin and with the sensor I'll never have to worry about filling the bag and then getting dust all over everything when it gets too full, which seemed to happen every time I emptied the bags from my Laguna and Jet collectors. The only issue I have is the stiffness of the hose. I'm now using one hose to service 4 different machines. It is definitely more difficult to drag this hose around and connect it than it was with the softer hose. It is going a great job of removing the dust created from my machines so I'm not complaining.

We purchased this as a dedicated dust collector in a custom area of our shop. The suction is very good however we have found that it's very easy to overwhelm this collector with just moderate dust flow. The choke point is at the bottom of the funnel where it meets the barrel. Secondly, it's very loud and puts out a tremendous amount of heat.I'm not so sure I would add another one.

Remote control in the unit died. The FOB seems ok but the machine's unit is dead. Can't believe the inconvenience this has caused. Would love to send it back and buy something more reliable in the way of a remote control! This thing ain't cheap!

For a small cabinet shop or home workshop, I can't imagine a better dust collector. Small, way over-built, exceptionally powerful, and easy to install (I'm nearly 70, and installed it by myself in an hour). It can handle every tool in my shop; 12 commercial stationary tools, a downdraft table, and probably another 5 hand tools. Ducting is easy, 4" mains and drops, but you do need to to plan on heavier gauge metal duct or Oneida's super heavy high pressure hose, since this thing really pulls. Combined with a ceiling mounted Jet dust filter, my garage shop is no longer the source of sawdust tracks into our home. Happy Wifey, happy lifey!

Most guys in our shop do not even switch on the dust collection due to its excessive noise.

I did a lot of research on dust collection prior to choosing this system from Oneida. This system fits my needs, and I couldn't be happier with the performance. I still have those few tools that do make a dust mess, but with this system I'm getting the biggest portion of dust & my shop remains pretty clean. Love this little workhorse.

Does a great job in a one man shop. My only gripe is that the remote shut off button is finicky. Start button works fine. The shut off has much less range.
