Q: My Calphalon set was also the hard anodized body but the dishwasher made them ugly. These state they are dishwasher safe. Anyone have experience wash?

I put mine in the dishwasher. After, I repeat the initial instruction to heat on low for 10 seconds then rub a small amount of oil onto the cooking surface (similar to seasoning cast iron, but not as intense). I haven’t had any problems. I try to “always wash by hand”… but life happens and dishes will take over your whole life with this many kids. Avoid metal utensils. My big chicken fry pan from this series lasted ten years, no signs of wear, one metal fork later…😖
